Geometrical

Sorry I'm a little late today but it has been a very long but fun day. 

I have been learning how to do a patchwork on a sewing machine, this might sound strange to some of you, but up until now I have only done hand sewn quilts.

This set, Geometrical, is a new set from the Spring/Summer catalogue but I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet. I love that it has a matching triangular punch.

So all in all, today was a hooray day !!!

Désolé, je suis un peu en retard aujourd'hui, mais cela a été une très longue journée, mais amusant.

J'ai appris comment faire un patchwork sur une machine à coudre, cela peut sembler étrange à certains d'entre vous, mais jusqu'à présent je n'ai fait que des patchwork cousus à la main.

Cet ensemble, Geometrical, est une nouvelle série du catalogue Printemps / Eté mais je n'ai pas eu beaucoup de chance de jouer avec encore. J'aime qu'il a une perfo triangulaire assortie.

Donc dans l'ensemble, aujourd'hui est un jour de hourra !!!

So I made a double page layouts showing them together.

J'ai trouvé quelques photos de Graham et son papy qui s'amusent ensemble.
J'ai donc fait une mise en page double en leur montrant ensemble.

Scrapbook Sunday #135

After visiting L'Isle Sur La Sorgue last weekend, 

I came home and wanted to getting the photos from our last visit onto paper.

This is one of the 12 x 12 papers from the This and That collection.

I used the circles that were on the paper to continue the decoation down the right hand side.

And some of the new Candy Dots at the top.

 

Après avoir visité l'Isle sur la Sorgue le week-end dernier,
Je suis rentrée et je voulais mettre des photos de notre dernière visite sur le papier.

C'est l'un des papiers 30 x 30 de la collection This and That.
J'ai utilisé les cercles qui étaient sur le papier pour poursuivre la decoation sur le côté de droite.
Et quelques-uns des nouveaux Pois Sucrés de bonbons en haut.

Scrapbook Sunday #132

This is another of my favourite photos of the boys.

Graham has managed to get his shoe off and it has lands on the ground in a car park near Loch Ness, he was only just three years old.

Neil who is only about 20 months old at the time just has such a serious expression on his face that I can only imagine what he is thinking.

I was just talking to my mum, who had been looking through some old photos as well, about just how cheeky Graham always was as a little boy - and still is a quite a big boy now !!

C'est un autre de mes photos préférées des garçons.

Graham a réussi à faire tomber sa chaussure et elle a atterrit sur le sol dans un parking près du Loch Ness, il n'avait que que trois ans.
Neil qui est âgé de seulement 20 mois au moment a juste une telle expression sérieuse sur son visage que je ne peux qu'imaginer ce qu'il pense.

Je parlais avec ma maman hier, qui aussi regardait dans des photos anciennes, combien effronté Graham a toujours été comme un petit garçon - tout comme aujourd'hui même s'il est devenu un grand garçon !!
