I'm starting with the product line that I will miss the most - the fabrics.

I made up a few more wine glass holders- well, you can never have enough wine, right !!!

Not all the fabric is reduced but some packs have30 % or 40% off, so don't miss out.

Je commence avec la gamme de produits qui va me manquer le plus - les tissus.
J'ai fait un peu plus de dessous de verre, eh bien,  

vous ne pouvez jamais avoir assez de vin, n'est pas !!!
Pas tous les tissus sont réduites, mais certains lots ont 30% ou 40% de remise, il ne faut pas manquer.

Next, is my favourite stamp set, Word Play.

 We only had this set for a year but, I have used it lots and I will really miss it.

Ensuite, c'est mon set de tampons préféré Word Play.
Nous n'avions que cet ensemble pendant un an mais, j'ai utilisé beaucoup et il va vraiment me manquer.

And finally, my last card uses the Twitterpated DSP which I have really enjoyed using as it was great for both male and female cards. I have also used Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze, two of the colours that are retiring too.

Et enfin, ma dernière carte utilise le DSP Roses En Liberty que j'ai vraiment apprécié utiliser comme c'était super pour les deux cartes masculins et féminins. J'ai aussi utilisé Rouge Capulet et Bleu Balkans, deux des couleurs qui prennent leur retraite également.

Fabric Coasters

I was looking on You Tube the other day at a different fabric project when I saw a link to make these fabric wine glass holders.

As we are having some people round at the weekend, I thought that it would be good to make some.

Once I got the sewing machine working properly - it took the longest time as I do struggle a bit with it !!

Then these were so quick and easy to make.

In the original video, Wendy used a piece of muslin inside, but it was Sunday afternoon in France, I had to make do with what was on hand. So mine have a old (but clean) dish towel inside. 

  

Je cherchais sur You Tube, l'autre jour à un autre projet en tissu quand j'ai vu un lien pour faire ces dessous de verre en tissus.

Comme nous allons avoir du monde à la maison ce week-end, j'ai pensé qu'il serait bon de faire un quelques uns.

Une fois que j'ai la machine à coudre fonctionne correctement - cela a pris le plus de temps comme j'ai un peu du mal avec elle !!

Puis ceux-ci étaient tellement rapide et facile à faire.

Dans la vidéo originale, Wendy a utilisé un morceau de mousseline à l'intérieur, mais c'était un dimanche après-midi en France, j'ai eu à faire avec ce qui était à portée de main. Donc le mien ont un vieux (mais propre) torchon intérieur.

Patchwork #7, #8 & #9

I have finally finished all the squares I need to make my quilt,

and I have started to sew them together. 

Unlike the bags that I have shared with you recently, these squares and the quilt are all done by hand.

The needles we use are tiny and if I didn't have glasses for reading, then I don't think I could even thread the eye.

I'm looking forward to starting the quilting phase of the quilt and although it will be a long job, I can't wait to see the finished item.

I will show you it again when it's all done - so don't wait with baited breath - I may be some time !!

 J'ai enfin terminé toutes les carrés dont j'ai besoin pour faire mon édredon,
et j'ai commencé à les coudre ensemble.

Contrairement aux sacs que j'ai partagées avec vous récemment, ces carrés et la couette sont tous fait à la main.

Les aiguilles que nous utilisons sont minuscules et si je n'avais pas de lunettes pour lire, alors je ne pense pas que je pourrais même enfiler l'œil.

Je suis impatiente de commencer la phase de matelassage de l'édredon et bien que ce sera un travail de longue haleine, je ne peux pas attendre de voir le produit fini.

Je vais vous montrer à nouveau lorsque tout cela se fait - il ne faut pas attendre avec impatience - J'ai peut-être un certain temps !!

Patchwork Bag Tutorial

 OK, lots of photos today.

I am sharing the tutorial for the patchwork bag that I showed you earlier in the week.

OK, beaucoup de photos d'aujourd'hui.
Je partage le tutoriel pour le sac patchwork que je vous ai montré plus tôt dans la semaine.

 

Start with 2 square pieces of fabric.

I have made a slightly smaller one this time, but the others were made with a piece of Stampin' Up! fabric which I folded into a triangle and cut to make the square. 

Démarrer avec 2 carrés de tissu.
J'ai fait un peu plus petite cette fois, mais les autres ont été faites avec un morceau de Stampin 'Up! tissu que j'ai plié en triangle et couper pour faire le carré.

Place the two pieces together with the patterned side on the inside.

And sew together leaving a 10 cm gap on one side. 

Placez les deux morceaux ensemble avec le côté motif sur l'intérieur.
Et cousez-les ensemble en laissant un espace de 10 cm sur un côté.

 

Turn the fabric the right way round.

 Tournez le tissu dans le bon sens

 

Sew the gap to complete the square.

 Coudre l'espace pour compléter le carré.

 Fold into a triangle and mark the fabric into three equal pieces.

 Plier en triangle et marquer le tissu en trois parties égales.

I use a material pen to trace a line to follow with my sewing machine.

 J'utilise un stylo tissu pour tracer une ligne à suivre avec ma machine à coudre.

 

 

Pin the side triangles up. And turn the bag inside out.

 Epingler les triangles latéraux en place. Et retourner le sac.

Now fold the bag to get the above shape.

Maintenant, pliez le sac pour obtenir le forme ci-dessus.

 Mark the corners at 6.5cm (for a full sized bag)

This will give you a square base when you turn the bag round again

  Marquez les angles à 6.5cm (pour un sac plein taille)

 Cela vous donnera une base carrée lorsque vous tournez la ronde sac de nouveau

Pin the sides and the top triangle to hold in place and sew round the top of the bag at 1.5cm to create the rim.

 Epingler les côtés et le triangle supérieur pour tenir en place et coudre autour de la partie supérieure du sac à 1,5 cm pour créer la jante.

 

Finish the bag by sewing some buttons to decorate the triangles.

Terminer le sac en cousant des boutons pour décorer les triangles.

 You need two lengths of ribbon and then thread in opposite directions using a safety pin.

 Vous avez besoin de deux longueurs de ruban, puis, de fil en sens inverse à l'aide d'une épingle de sûreté.

 

Your bag is now finished !!

Votre sac est maintenant terminé!

More Patchwork Bags

These are the other two bags that I made and gave to friends this weekend.

Firstly, I made this one using the Beau Château fabric. I love the soft colous of this fabric. 

Ce sont les deux autres sacs que j'ai faites et donné à mes amis ce week-end.
Tout d'abord, j'ai fait celui-ci en utilisant le tissu Beau Château. J'aime les couleurs douces de ce tissu.

 Then, I made this one using the Comfort Café fabric, which is now one of my favourites fabrics as well as paper sets !!

Don't you just love that everything matches with Stampin' Up!

 Ensuite, j'ai fait celui-ci en utilisant le tissu Myosotis des Marais, qui est maintenant l'un de mes favoris tissus ainsi que set de de papier!

J'adore que tout correspond chez Stampin' Up!, n'est ce pas !!

Patchwork Bag

This is a little sneak peek of one of the new fabric packs in the Spring/Summer catalogue.

It's called More Amore and I made this cute little bag at my last patchwork class.

There are actually quite a few new products on show here !!

The bag was quite easy to make and I will show you two more that I made tomorrow.

And I have to say that out of all the projects I made for yesterday's training, this is by far my favourite. I think it's because the fabric is so easy to work with and I CAN sew !!! LOL

Ceci est un petit aperçu de l'un des nouveaux tissus dans le catalogue printemps / été.

C'est s'appelle Amour Tous Les Jours et j'ai fait ce sac mignon à mon dernier cours de patchwork.

Il y a effectivement quelques nouveaux produits exposées ici !!

Le sac était assez facile à faire et je vais vous montrer encore deux que j'ai fait demain.

Et je dois dire que, sur tous les projets que j'ai réalisés pour la formation d'hier, c'est de loin mon préféré. Je pense que c'est parce que le tissu est si facile de travailler avec et je peux coudre !!! MDR

Patchwork

Since Stampin' Up! introduced fabric to it range of products last year I haven't really done anything with it. I've make some brooches, a bingo bag and that's about all.

I felt it was such a shame not to knowing how to use it more, so I decided to change all that and

on Tuesday afternoon I joined a Patchwork class at a local centre.

And this is what I have made so far.

Beatrice, the teacher, has shown me what it will turn into by June next year and I'm really excited to get stitching, and I think that these colours will be quite dramatic.

I will show you photos as I progress but I can't promise that it will be quick !!

Depuis que Stampin 'Up! l'introduit pour la gamme des tissues dnas ses produits l'année dernière, je n'ai pas vraiment fait grande chose. J'ai fait des broches, un sac de bingo et c'est à peu près tout.

J'ai senti que c'était vraiment dommage de ne pas savoir comment l'utiliser plus, alors j'ai décidé de changer tout cela et mardi après-midi, j'ai rejoint une classe Patchwork dans un centre sociale.

Et c'est ce que j'ai fait jusqu'à présent.

Béatrice, l'enseignante, m'a montré ce qu'il va devenir par Juin de l'année prochaine et je suis vraiment excitée d'apprendre la couture, et je pense que ces couleurs seront tout à fait spectaculaire.

Je vous montrerai des photos de maje progression mais je ne peux pas vous promettre que ce sera rapide !!!

Stampin' Up! Fabric/Tissu

Hello everyone,
I'm not AWOL I have had a busy few days getting ready for a display I had yesterday afternoon at my gym, Lady Fitness Sans Souci.
I will show you more pictures later, but for today I will share with you the decoration I made for my apron using the new Designer Fabric that SU have in the new catalogue.
I have used the Timeless Portrait fabric cut out with the Fun Flowers die on the Big Shot. I finished it off with a beautiful new Antique brad and some Basic Black Satin Ribbon.
Thank you to everyone who spoke with me yesterday afternoon and I hope to see you all soon at a workshop, class or sweating away at the gym.

Je ne suis pas absente sans permission j'ai été très occupé ces derniers jours à me préparer pour un exposé à mon club de sport, Lady Fitness Sans Souci.
Je vous montrerai des photos plus tard mais pour aujourd'hui je partage avec vous une broche que j'ai faite pour mon tablier avec les nouveaux tissus Design que SU fabrique maintenant.
J'ai utilisé les tissus 'A Travers Les Âges' qui j'ai découpé avec les Big Shot et le poinçon Fleurs du Bonheur. La broche est finie avec une attache parisienne D'époque (elles sont magnifiques) et du ruban Satin Noir Nu.
Merci à toutes les dames avec lesquelles j'ai discuté avec hier et j'espère de vous revoir bientôt en atelier, dans un de mes cours ou en train de transpirer à la gym .
