New Thinlets Dies and Envelope Board

Stampin' Up! are working so hard at the moment to bring you lots of new and exciting products to help you craft and create lots of fabulous projects.

I love these new Thinlet dies that allow to make a flip card with just one roll through the Big Shot.

There are two different models available and each come with lots of extra dies to use.

Flower Box

I found a tutorial on Pinterst to make a 3D flower using the flower punch.

I used the new paper stacks to decorate the box and make the flower. 

The new patterns in these paper stacks are so good and for only 25.95 Euros you get 40 sheets of 12 x 12 papers in all the colour families.

J'ai trouvé un tutoriel sur Pinterst de faire une fleur 3D en utilisant le perfo Pivoine fleur.

J'ai utilisé les nouvelles blocs de papier pour décorer la boîte et faire la fleur.

Les nouvelles motifs en ces blocs de papier sont si bons et pour seulement 25,95 euros, vous obtenez 40 feuilles de 30 x 30 papiers dans toutes les familles de couleurs.

Scrapbook Sunday #136

I got Martyn this tee shirt for his last birthday as a fun extra.

I don't like facial hair, so i thought that he would be happy to have moustaches on his tee shirt instead. But now everytime he wears it, he wants to grow one !!

So I cut out a black moustache and got him to stick it on while I took a photo, so now he knows how he would look if he ever did grow a real one.

J'ai acheté ce tee shirt pour Martyn pour son dernier anniversaire comme un petit plus rigolo

Je n'aime pas les poils du visage, alors j'ai pensé qu'il serait heureux d'avoir des moustaches sur son tee-shirt à la place. Mais maintenant, chaque fois qu'il le porte, il en veut un !!

Donc j'ai coupé la moustache noire et lui ai demandé de le coller pendant que je lui prenais une photo, alors maintenant il sait comment il aurait l'air si jamais il en pousse un vrai.

Christmas is Coming

I am more organised for this Christmas than I was last year......Yeah for me !!!

Yesterday as well as making our Christmas Cake (the house smells wonderful), I also made this first Christmas Wreath.

I used the Be of Good Cheer DSP and I also decorated the back of the polystyrene circle with Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green DSP from the stack packs.

I finished off with a big Tulle ribbon bow on the front and more behind to use to hang it up.

Je suis plus organisée pour ce Noël que je l'étais l'année dernière ...... Ouais pour moi!

Hier, ainsi que de faire notre gâteau de Noël (la maison sent merveilleusement bonne), j'ai aussi fait cette première couronne de Noël.

J'ai utilisé le DSP Etoile des Neiges et j'ai aussi décoré l'arrière du cercle de polystyrène avec du papier Cerise Carmin et Fil de Chlorophylle des packs à motifs de la Série Design.

J'ai terminé avec un noued de ruban de tulle sur le devant et  encore sur l'arrière pour l'accrocher.

Scrapbook Sunday # 121

 This is one of the first 'good' photos of me and the boys after Neil's birth. 

He was only about 10 weeks old when we took him back to see the families.

But let's be honest, Graham was still a baby as well, at just 18 months old.

The colours on the photo went so well with the colours of this week's challenges at Fab Friday that I just had to play along.

Il s'agit d'un des premiers «bons» photos de moi et les garçons après la naissance de Neil.
Il n'était que d'environ 10 semaines lorsque nous l'ont ramené voir nos familles.
Mais soyons honnêtes, Graham était encore un bébé aussi, a seulement 18 mois.

Les couleurs de la photo allait si bien avec les couleurs de défi cette semaine à Fab Friday que il fallait que je joue en même temps.

 I thought that I would carry on the themes of the last couple of days - Scotland and Neil's Birthday.

First page is Graham in various tartan pieces of clothing.

Some tartan trews for Christmas and then this hilarious hat and hair wig.

I love them both !!

Second page was Graham's first photo with his new baby brother.

I finished the page with some Flowering Flourishes to give the page a little more depth.

 J'ai pensé que je pourrais mener sur les thèmes de ces deux dernières jours - l'Écosse et l'Anniversaire de Neil.

La première page est Graham portant des vêtements tartan.
Un pantanlon tartan pour Noël et puis ce chapeau /perruque tartan.
Je les aime tant !!

Deuxième page a été première photo de Graham avec son nouveau petit frère.
J'ai terminé la page avec Flowering Flourishes  pour donner à la page un peu plus de profondeur.

Embossed Thank You

I was having some fun recently making Emboss Resist cards and this is one of them.
I heat embossed the Silver Setting stamp with clear embossing powder then inked round the edges using Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake inks.
I finished off with a Thank You from Curly Cute and some soft Always Artichoke Seam Binding.

Je m'amusais récemment à faire des cartes avec la technique Emboss Resist et c'est l'une d'elles.
J'ai embossé à chaud le tampon Silver Setting avec de la poudre à embosser transparente puis encré sur les bords à l'aide d'Artichaut haud et de Brune Dune
J'ai terminé avec un Merci de Jolies Pensées et un ruban doux en Artichaut Chaud.

Dynamic Duos #8

 This week it's my favourite Monochrome challenge at Dynamic Duos.

This month the colurs are River Rock and Always Artichoke.

So I broke out my Take A Sip wheel, which I have had for a while now and never used.

I stamped the wheel using Always Artichoke ink on the River Rock card stock before adding a touch of Always Artichoke DSP and seam binding ribbon.

 Cette semaine, c'est mon défi préféré de monochrome chez Dynamic Duos.
Ce mois-ci les couleurs sont Roche Rivière et Artichaut Chaud.
Alors j'ai sorti ma roue Take A Sip, que j'ai depuis un certain temps maintenant et jamais utilisé.
J'ai tamponné la roue avec de l'encre Artichaut Chaud sur le papier cartonné Roche Rivière avant d'ajouter une touche de Artichaut Chaud DSP et du galon.

Scrapbook Sunday #100

 We have had a week that really threw us back into the past.

Martyn had to go to a funeral of a dear friend and I watched a DVD that my aunt sent me of my granddad's 80th birthday.

Both were a shock.

I was OK watching the DVD and seeing younger versions of my family and Martyn but i cracked when I heard my granadad talk. I just never thought I would hear his voice again and I loved it.

It got me to thinking about other people who had been at our wedding and are no longer about but still in our thoughts.

These are both of our grans.

Look at Graham's face in the picture below, what a cheeky little monkey he looks !!

 

 Nous avons eu une semaine qui nous a vraiment fait retourner dans le passé.
Martyn a dû aller à l'enterrement d'un ami cher et j'ai regardé un DVD que ma tante m'a envoyé du 80e anniversaire de mon grand-père.
Les deux ont été un choc.
J'étais contente de regarder le DVD et de voir des versions plus jeunes de ma famille et Martyn, mais j'ai craqué quand j'ai entendu mon discours grand-père. Je n'ai jamais pensé que je pourrais entendre sa voix encore une fois et j'ai adoré.
Il m'a fait penser à d'autres personnes qui avaient participé à notre mariage et ne sont plus là, mais toujours dans nos pensées.
Ce sont deux de nos mamies.
Regardez le visage de Graham sur l'image ci-dessus, je ne sais pas ce qu'il a fait mais c'était quelque chose !!

 Graham was such a little cutie (he still is !!) and he loved this little bunny.

We did the worried parent thing of buying a second one 'just in case'.

 Graham était un petit ange (il est toujours!) et il aimait ce petit lapin.
Nous avons fait ce que font les parents inquiets en achetant un deuxième "juste au cas où».

 

I have done some hidden journaling saying who the rabbit is.

J'ai fait quelques journalisation cachée disant identité du lapin.
