I'm starting with the product line that I will miss the most - the fabrics.

I made up a few more wine glass holders- well, you can never have enough wine, right !!!

Not all the fabric is reduced but some packs have30 % or 40% off, so don't miss out.

Je commence avec la gamme de produits qui va me manquer le plus - les tissus.
J'ai fait un peu plus de dessous de verre, eh bien,  

vous ne pouvez jamais avoir assez de vin, n'est pas !!!
Pas tous les tissus sont réduites, mais certains lots ont 30% ou 40% de remise, il ne faut pas manquer.

Next, is my favourite stamp set, Word Play.

 We only had this set for a year but, I have used it lots and I will really miss it.

Ensuite, c'est mon set de tampons préféré Word Play.
Nous n'avions que cet ensemble pendant un an mais, j'ai utilisé beaucoup et il va vraiment me manquer.

And finally, my last card uses the Twitterpated DSP which I have really enjoyed using as it was great for both male and female cards. I have also used Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze, two of the colours that are retiring too.

Et enfin, ma dernière carte utilise le DSP Roses En Liberty que j'ai vraiment apprécié utiliser comme c'était super pour les deux cartes masculins et féminins. J'ai aussi utilisé Rouge Capulet et Bleu Balkans, deux des couleurs qui prennent leur retraite également.

Last but Not Least

This is the final card from the class.

Although not the easiest of cards to make, or send.

 It is always useful to have a sympathy card ready.

C'est la dernière carte de la classe.
Bien que n'étant pas le plus facile des cartes à faire, ou à envoyer.
C'est toujours utile d'avoir une carte de sympathie prête.

Artful Readers Club February 2013

My second book of the year for the Artful Readers Club is 

 A Village in Jeopardy by Rebecca Shaw

The best way to describe this book is a soap opera in words.

This is the 17th book in the series and I wait with baited breath from the finish of one book to the publication of the next.
All the books are set in the fictional village of Turham Malpas - think of a beautiful Midsomer Murders village without the murders !!

Each book has a list of all the characters and what they do in the village and there is also a plan of the village, so you can see where everyone lives. I often refer to these guides as I am reading the books.

The main characters, this time, are Johnny Templeton (nephew of a former resident Sir Ralph),
and
Alice and Marcus March.
Alice is the village music teacher and her husband Marcus is writing a novel.

These are the two people I took my inspiration for my artwork.
The music paper, shaded in girly colours of Perfect Plum and Raspberry Ripple and some typed sheets to represent Marcus' writing.

Johnny, our newcomer, wants it all - the big house which belonged to his family for generations and the girl, even though she's already married. But to get them other people will have to loose them first.
Alice is fed up bankrolling Marcus, while he is trying to write the perfect novel.

I have to admit that this has been my least favourite book in the series, which was a bit of a shock as I have loved all the others. When I first started reading it, I thought that I had missed one out, but I hadn't (I did check). The story seemed to have jumped on quite a bit from the end of book number 16, A Village Deception.
All that said, I am now waiting with baited breath again for the next instalment.

Sale-A-Brate Vintage Style

This Penny Farthing was the only stamp in this set (Feeling Sentiment) that I had yet to christen in ink. So I decided that today was the day !! LOL

I stamped it in Early Espresso on to the new Canvas before inking up the edges with Soft Suede and then distressing them slightly.

I then added a couple of ribbons in Always Artichoke and Summer Starfruit for a little bit of subtle colour.

I always worry when I do a card a little bit different to my normal style but it's good to challenge yourself sometimes.

Cette Penny Farthing était le seul tampon de cette série (Douce Nostalgie ) que je n'avais pas encore baptisé à l'encre. Alors j'ai décidé qu'aujourd'hui était le jour! MDR

Je l'ai tamponné avec le Couleur café sur la nouvelle toile avant l'encrage des bords avec Doux Suède et pénible légèrement.
J'ai ensuite ajouté quelques rubans en Carambole Caracole et Toujours Artichaut pour un peu de couleur subtile.

Je m'inquiète toujours quand je fais une carte un peu différent de mon style normal, mais il est bon de se remettre en question parfois.

Birthday Wishes

I made this card for a friend's birthday a while ago and forgot to share with you.

I was very pleased with how this card turned out (as was the recipient !!)

The Mocha Morning Speciality papers are just gorgeous and I use Regal Rose to compliment to neutral colours.

Using the Simply Scored I made the rosette with the First Edition Speciality papers and finished it off with an Antique Brad.

J'ai fait cette carte pour anniversaire d'une amie il y a un moment et j'ai oublié de partager avec vous.
J'ai été très heureuse avec la façon dont cette carte s'est révélé (toute comme la destinataire !!)
Les papiers Spécialité Moccacino sont tout simplement superbe et j'ai utilisé du Rose Régal pour complimenter les couleurs neutres.
Avec la Simply Scored, j'ai fait la rosette avec les papiers de spécialité First Edition et elle a été terminé avec une attache parisienned'époque.

TechnoStamper Sketch & Blog Hop

What a great sketch over at TechnoStamper this week !!
I just had to play along.
Here's my card, I used the new Blossom Party die for the Big Shot in the mini catalogue.
I added a little transparent butterfly to the large flower for extra detail.
I ordered these papers (Pocketful of Posies) by accident - I have no idea how I managed it -but I'm so glad I did, they are fab to work with.

Quel sketch fabuleux sur TechnoStamper cette semaine !!
Il fallait j'y participe.
Voilà ma carte, J'ai utilisé le nouveau poinçon, du mini catalogue, Soirée En Fleur dans le Big Shot. J'ai ajouté un petit papillon transparent sur la grande fleur pour une petite touche supplémentaire.
J'ai commandé ces papiers (Des Pensées Plein les Poches) par erreur - je n'ai aucune idée comment j'ai fait- mais je suis très contente de l'avoir fait, ils sont magnifiques et très facile à utiliser.
