Sorry for absence

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I had my parents here on holiday and loved spending time with them. And when they left, I finally took myself off to the doctors as I have had a sore arm for a while. 

The bad news was that I have tendinitis (with a calcified lump) in my right arm and my left arm is sore too. So I have been told not to do any crafting of any sort - it is torture !! I always have something on the go. 

So I am going to take another few weeks to hopefully recover and I will be back towards the end of the month. 

Désolée pour mon absence depuis un bon moment. J'ai eu la visite de mes parents et j'ai adoré passer du temps avec eux. Et quand ils sont partis, j'ai enfin pris rendez-vous chez le médécin pour mon bras qui m'a fait mal depuis pas mal du temps. 

La mauvais nouvelle est que j'ai une tendinite avec calcification dans mon bras droit et j'ai aussi mal dans le bras gauche. Et le médécin m'a interdit de faire tous travaux manuels - c'est affreuse !! J'ai toujours en train de faire quelque chose. 

Alors, je vais prendre encore quelques semaines pour recuperer et je serai de retour vers le fin du mois.

#24 Nature

Voici l'impressive Mûrier dans notre jardin. Chaque année nous sommes impressionnés par ses grandes feuilles qui poussent et poussent jusqu'en automne. Et dès la premiere gêlée, elles tombent toutes au même moment, on peut entrendre le bruit et puis l'arbre est vide d'un coup d'ouf.

#24 Nature

This is the impressive mulberry tree in our garden. Each year we are blown about by it's huge leaves that just grow and grow from now until autumn. And then when we get the first frost in winter all the leaves fall off at the same time, we can hear them and then the tree is naked in one quick whoosh.

The Wombles et la Manège Enchantée viennent de la mienne et les Teletubbies, Sean the Sheep et Bob le bricoleur pour les enfants.

The cover of this week's TV guide was just perfect for the challenge.

The Wombles (Orinoco) and Dougal from the Magic Roundabout were a part of my childhood and Tinky Winky from the Teletubbies, Sean the Sheep and Bob the Builder were part of my childrens'.

#22 Dans Mon Sac

.....dans mon sac patch, j'ai tous ce qu'il me faut pour faire la frivolité. C'est petit et facile à prendre avec moi dès que je sors. Il y avait pas mal de rendez-vous chez l'orthodontiste c'est dernieres semaines, mais j'ai pu travailler sans problème !!

#22 In My Bag

".....in my patchwork bag, I have everything I need to do Lace Tatting. It's small and easy to take with me when I am going out and about. The boys have had a few appointments at the orthodontist in the last few weeks, but I have been able to carry on working !!

A Card for Any Occasion

This simple card was one we made in card class last month.

Some added a birthday greeting straight away, while others left it plain so that it could be used when needed for any occasion.

Cette carte simple était celle que nous fait dans la classe de la carte le mois dernier.

Certains ont ajouté un voeux d'anniversaire tout de suite, tandis que d'autres ont laissé simple afin qu'elle puisse être utilisé en cas de besoin pour n'importe quelle occasion.
