Create With Connie and Mary

 I really love using these Hostess papers for making bright summery cards. The colours are all so great. Here I have used them with a great sketch from Create with Connie and Mary.

Dynamic Duos #1

A new blog challenge started this week and it looks like lots of fun.

Dynamic Duos first challenge is a colour one using Pool Party and Lucky Limeade.

I have used the Delicate Dollies stamps for my card.

 Un nouveau blog de défi a débuté cette semaine et il me semble que ce sera très amusant.
Pour leur premier défi Dynamic Duos a mis un défi de couleur en utilisant Piscine Party et Citron Coco.

We had a very excited day yesterday as my husband was interviewed by lots of radio and TV channels about a paper that he had published in the Lancet Oncology. Needless to say I am very proud of him as are the boys, his parents and mine !!!

Nous avons eu une journée très excité hier car mon mari a été interviewé par de nombreuses chaînes de radio et de télévision sur un papier qu'il avait publiés dans la revue The Lancet Oncology. Inutile de dire que je suis très fière de lui tout comme les garçons, ses parents et les miens !!!

Simply Stampin' Sketch

I love the sketch that we have over at Simply Stampin' this week and decided to make another couple of cards using the sketch and more of the papers you can get free with your orders this month.
As the papers are very colourful I have kept the embellishments to a minimum. Sometimes I love making quick and fun cards that can be posted off at a moments notice.

J'aime le croquis que nous avons chez Simply Stampin' cette semaine et j'ai décidé de faire encore quelques cartes utilisant le croquis et plusieurs des papiers que vous pouvez obtenir gratuitement avec vos commandes ce mois-ci.
Comme ces papiers sont très colorés, j'ai gardé les embellissements à un minimum. Parfois, j'aime faire des cartes rapide et amusant qui peuvent être envoyés rapidement.

Childrens Cards

I recently took part in a card swap with ladies from In Love With Stamping and received a card using Fox and Friends and it made me want to get my set out again and have a play.

Dernièrement, j'ai fait un échange de cartes avec des dames sur le site 'In Love With Stamping' et j'en ai reçu une où la dame a utilisé le set de tampons Fox and Friends et ça m'a donné envie de ressortir le mien.

More Monochrome

Firstly here is the box I made for the first set of cards
I made for the Monochrome challenge over at Less is More

But I as I may have said already I love Monochrome, so I'm back again with a second set.
This time I put them in a little pag with a Big Shot Top Note topper.

En premier, je vous montre la petite boîte que j'ai fait pour mes premières cartes
faites pour le défi sur Less is More

Mais comme je vous ai déjà dit, j'adore faire des cartes en monochrome, alors je reviens avec un second set. Cette fois-ci j'ai fait un petit sachet fini, avec un topper fait avec le poinçon Top Note, pour les mettre.

Keeping It Simple

Today I thought that I would show you a very simple card that I made last week.
This Big Shot embossing folder is so beautiful I don't feel that the card needs much more. I have kept the colours quite soft as well. I also love this new Label punch is quickly becoming one of my favourites, it goes with everything !!

Aujourd'hui je vous montre cette carte très simple que j'ai fait la semaine dernière.
Le plioir à gaufrage pour le Big Shot est tellement beau que l'on peut laisser la carte telle quelle. J'ai aussi utilisé des coloris assez neutre. J'adore aussi la nouvelle perforatrice Étiquette Décorative et elle devient très vite une de mes préférées, on peut l'utiliser avec tout.

Love Is In The Air

Valentine's Day is not too far off now. So I thought it was time for some loved up cards.
I decided that my base card for both cards would be Basic Grey and then with the aide of the 'Color Coach' I teamed it up with Melon Mambo and Old Olive in the first card and with Pumpkin Pie and Real Red in the second one.

Le jour de la Saint Valentin s'approche. Alors j'ai pensé aux cartes pleines d'amour.
J'ai décidé de commencer avec une carte de base en Gris Souris et puis avec l'aide du 'Nuancier Color Coach' j'ai fait la première carte avec Melon Mambo et Vert Olive et ensuite Tarte au Potiron et Rouge-Rouge sur la seconde.

Teacher Card

This lovely card with it's wise owl was asked for by one of the mums from school for her child's teacher. Nice and bright (Summer Sun & Taken with Teal) for the end of term when it was too hot and everybody just wanted the holidays to start !!!

Cette jolie carte avec le hibou tout sage a été demandée par une maman pour le prof de son fils. Gaie et fraîche(Soleil d'Eté & Canard Chic) pour la fin d'année quand il faisait trop chaud et les parents n'attendent que les vacances commencent!!!
