Christmas Club 2012

On Saturday we had the first Christmas Club of this year.

We made two cards, one using items that are all on the Last Chance List and the other with all new products from the new Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

 Samedi dernier nous avons eu le premier club de Noël de cette année.

Nous avons fait deux cartes, l'une utilisant des éléments qui sont tous sur la liste Dernière chance et l'autre avec tous les nouveaux produits de la nouvelle collection Automne / Hiver catalogue.

New

The new card includes a new Big Shot die and embossing folder as well as sparkly glitter gold cardstock.

And the retiring products include stamp set, wheel, satin ribbon and In Colors 2010/2012.

Remember if you want any of these products then get in touch quickly as some of the retiring items have already started selling out.

La nouvelle carte comprend un poinçon et un plioir à gaufrage pour le Big Shot ainsi que du papier cartonné en or brillant.
Et les produits sortants comprennent un ensemble de tampon, une roue, ruban en satin et In Colors 2010/2012.
N'oubliez pas que si vous voulez un de ces produits alors contactez rapidement car certains articles qui prennent leur retraite ont déjà commencé à vendre

Scrapbook Sunday #102

I know, I know...it's a little bit early to be showing Christmas sets !! LOL

But only last week I was sitting making lots of Christmas Cards to use in a swap with some other demonstrators. So when I saw this photo of our first Christmas as a family, I just had to put a scrapbook page together.

Je sais, je sais ... c'est un peu tôt pour montrer des ensembles de Noël! MDR
Mais seulement la semaine dernière je faisais des cartes de Noël pour les utiliser dans un échange avec quelques autres démonstratrices. Alors quand j'ai vu cette photo de notre premier Noël en famille, j'ai juste eu envie de la mettre sur une page de scrapbooking.

Christmas Scrapbook Sunday

Merry Christmas Everyone !!

It feels a bit funny having Christmas Day on a Sunday, doesn't it ?
This is our cake from last year, this year it was the boys who made it and I can't wait to have a taste.

C'est un peu drôle de célébrer Noël un dimanche, n'est ce pas ?
Voilà notre gâteau de l'année dernière, cette année ce sont les garçons qui l'ont fait et j'ai hâte de le goûter.

Christmas Tags

Well I'm getting there with my preparations for Christmas now.
This weekend I made the tags for the gifts. We are always searching for these on Christmas Eve so hopefully I won't lose them better now and then !!


Eh bien, j'arrive avec mes préparations pour Noël maintenant.
Ce weekend j'ai fait toutes nos étiquettes pour les cadeaux de Noël. Nous sommes toujours en train de les chercher la veille de Noël, alors j'espère que je ne les perdrai pas entre maintenant et samedi !!!

With these embossed tags, I have put a coloured backing on them and matched the ribbons to their colours.

Avec ces étiquettes embossée à chaud, j'ai mis un support en papier coloris et puis j'ai mis un ruban assorti.

Don't forget tomorrow's catch up session, if their are any recent projects you want to make then come along and join us from 2pm.

Christmas Club/Club de Noël

I can't believe that the Christmas club has now finished for this year.
It was a huge success and I plan to run it again from September 2012, but in the meantime I will start a Card Club from February.
We will continue to make 10 cards but this time it will be 5 cards and 2 of each.
Every 2 months we will make a selection of cards for men,women,children and babies.

Je ne peux pas croire que le Club de Noël soit maintenant terminé pour cette année.
Il a eu un énorme succès et j'ai l'intention de recommencer dès Septembre 2012, mais en attendant je vais commencer un Club des Cartes à partir du mois de Février.
Nous continuerons à faire 10 cartes mais cette fois-ci nous ferons 5 cartes différentes et 2 de chaque modèle.
Tous les deux mois nous ferons des cartes pour les hommes, les femmes, les enfants et les bébés.

Thank you to evertone who came along to the 4 classes and I hope that your friends and family love your handmade cards.
Merci à toutes celles qui sont venues aux 4 cours et j'espère que vos amis et votre famille aiment vos cartes faites à la main.

Training Swaps

It's nearly time for the new Ideas Book and Catalogue to come out, just a few more days !!!
A couple of weeks ago we had a training evening with Stampin' Up! in Lyon. These are great meetings where 40 demonstrators got together and talked about all the new products we will be seeing soon.
And what does demos getting together mean ?? Yes swaps !!
These are the set of cards I made to give away. I didn't want to make 40 in the same colours so I use the Colour Coach.
Next time I will show you all the swaps I got in return.
They are amazing.

Il est presque temps pour le nouveau Livre d'idées et catalogue de sortir, juste quelques jours de plus!

Il y a quelques semaines, nous avons eu une soirée de formation avec Stampin 'Up! à Lyon. Ce sont des grandes rencontres où 40 démonstratrices se sont réunies et ont parlé de tous les nouveaux produits que nous verrons bientôt.

Et ce qui ne signifie démos se réunir? Oui des Échanges!

Voici la série de cartes que j'ai fait à donner. Je ne voulais pas faire 40 dans les mêmes couleurs donc j'utilise le Nuancier Color Coach.
La prochaine fois je vous montrerai toutes les échanges qui j'ai reçu en retour.

Summer Fun

During the summer holidays I was very lucky to go to a training day held
Julie with her team

It was a very wet day in Yorkshire but we had a great time talking 'Christmas'. There was even Christmas cupcakes at lunchtime !!
In the morning Chris showed us how to make this bag and we decorated it with this fab Santa Owl.

Pendant les vacances d'été j'ai été très chanceuse d'aller à une journée de formation organisé par Julie et son équipe.
Ce fut une journée très humide dans le Yorkshire, mais nous avons eu un grand moment en parlant 'Noël'. Il y avait même des cupcakes de Noël au déjeuner !
Dans la matinée, Chris nous a montré comment faire ce sac et nous l'avons décoré avec ce fabuleux hibou façon Père Noël.

After a great lunch that included turkey and cranberry sauce sandwiches (yes in July !!!)
we made this great set of cards using the Contempo Christmas.

Après un excellent déjeuner qui comprenait des sandwiches à la dinde et sauce aux airelles (oui en Juillet !!!)
nous avons fait ce grand ensemble de cartes en utilisant le set Noël Contemporain.


I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Julie for her warm welcome and all her team for letting me join in on their day.

Je voudrais dire un GRAND merci à Julie pour son accueil chaleureux et à toute son équipe pour m'avoir permis de participer à leur journée.

Christmas Thoughts

I have tried to avoid posting Christmas cards up until now but now we are in November I feel that the time has come. I love this new Christmas set from Stampin' Up! and it has a matching punch for the bauble so no cutting by hand !!!

I really enjoy making Christmas cards as that is how I started card making in the first place, probably about 9 years ago now !! Doesn't time fly when you are enjoying yourself.

Jusque là j'ai évité de vous montrer des cartes de Noël mais maintenant que nous sommes en novembre c'est le moment de commencer. J'adore ce nouveau set de tampons de Stampin' Up! et avec la perforatrice assortie pas besoin de tout découper à la main.

J'adore faire mes cartes de Noël car ce sont avec elles que j'ai commencé mon voyage dans la fabrication à la main il y a 9 ans.

New Sets

These are the cards that we made during the catalogue launch. Thank you to those who came.
The first card uses one of the new Level 2 hostess gifts - Cute By The Inch and lots of new blues - Pacific Point, Baja Breeze and Marina Mist along with Night of Navy. The background has been done with the large Sanded stamp.

The second is a sweet little Christams card made with the Contempo Christmas set and fab new colours of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake (both sound good enough to eat !!!). The background on this card is done with the Confetti set.

Ces deux cartes ont été faites pendant mes journées portes ouvertes pour le nouveau catalogue. Un grand merci à celles qui sont venues.
La première carte utilise un des nouveaux cadeaux hôtesses -L'amour au Carré et plusieurs nouveaux coloris en bleu.
Pointe Pacifique, Bleu Balkans, Murmure Marin et Bleu Nuit. L'arrière plan a été fait avec le grand tampon Sanded.

La deuxième petite carte est fait avec le set de tampons Noël Contemporain encore avec des coloris nouveaux - Cerise Carmin et Brune Dune.
Ici l'arrière plan est fait avec le set Confetti qui sont petits mais très jolis.

New Catalogue Launch

This Saturday afternoon I'm inviting you to come over to mine and discover the new Ideas Book and Catalogue2010/2011. This afternoon will cost 8 Euros and you will get your own copy of the catalogue along with 2 Make and Takes and a small goody bag of Stampin' Up! products.

My craft room will be open from 2.00pm until 6.00pm this Saturday (2nd October) and for people who prefer weekdays I'll do it all over on Tuesday 5th October at the same times 2-6.

Ce samedi après-midi je vous invite chez moi pour découvrir le nouveau livre D'Idées et Catalogue 2010/2011. Cet après-midi coûte 8 Euros et vous aurez votre propre copie du Catalogue plus 2 projets à faire et un petit sac magique avec des produits Stampin' Up!

Mon atelier sera ouvert de 14h00 à 18H00 ce samedi (2 octobre) et pour celles qui préfèrent je recommencerai le mardi 5 octobre au même horaires (14h-18h).
