Butterfly Birthday

 

This is a busy month for birthdays in our families, so I thought I better make a start on the many, many cards I have to send.

Here I have painted a piece of Calypso Coral card stock with Gesso and, then once dried, I ran it though the Big Shot and then sanded off some of the paint to give this distressed look.

I finished off with a couple of Brushed Silver butterflies and some matching Baker's Twine.

 C'est un mois très occupé par les anniversaires dans nos familles, alors j'ai pensé que je ferais mieux de faire un début sur ​​les nombreuses cartes que je dois envoyer.
Ici, j'ai peint un morceau de papier cartonné Corail Calypso avec Gesso et, puis, une fois séché, je l'ai mis dans le Big Shot, puis poncer une partie de la peinture pour lui donner ce look en détresse.

 J'ai terminé avec deux papillons en papier cartonné argent brossé et une ficelle à roti correspondante.
