Pinterest Challenge

I love a good challenge, and this card was made for a challenge set by a fellow demo, Linda, on In Love With Stamping.

The challenge is to take a card that was found on Pinterest and make it 100% Stampin' Up!

I have a lot of fun making this card, as it is different from my clean and simple style.

J'aime un bon défi, et cette carte a été faite pour un défi lancé par une camarade démo, Linda, sur In Love With Stamping.

Le défi est de prendre une carte qui a été trouvé sur Pinterest et le rendre 100% Stampin 'Up!

Less Is More #114

Back again for another Saturday night entry to the Less Is More challenge.

This week it is a colour challenge using Black & Lime.

I have used the Creative Elements set, and as the aim of the challenge is to keep a clean and simple card, I have deliberately left the left side blank.

De retour pour une entrée du samedi soir au défi Less Is More.
Cette semaine, c'est un défi couleur à l'aide de Noir & Citron Vert.

J'ai utilisé le set Éléments Créatifs, et comme le but du défi est de garder une carte propre et simple, j'ai délibérément laissé le côté gauche blanc.

Lots of Love

This card was made to send to someone special who is waiting for an operation.

And we just wanted to let him know that we were thinking about him.

I think that the Twitterpated papers are just great for both male and female cards.

Cette carte a été faite pour envoyer à quelqu'un de spécial qui est en attente d'une opération.
Et nous voulions juste pour lui faire savoir que nous avions une pensée pour lui.

Je pense que les papiers Roses En Liberty sont tout simplement génial pour les cartes masculines et féminines.

CAKE !!

Who doesn't love it, right !!!

Graham is no exception, his face just lights up at the sight of a good cake.

He prefers chocolate, but as I'm allergic to chocolate, we often have a fruity cake.

GÂTEAU !!

Qui ne l'aime pas, n'est ce pas!

Graham n'y fait pas exception, son visage s'illumine simplement à la vue d'un bon gâteau.

Il préfère le chocolat, mais comme je suis allergique au chocolat, nous avons souvent un gâteau fruité.

More Creative Elements

I used the same sketch that I used a while ago from a challenge from Create With Connie and Mary to make another card. 

I love this big flower so much !!

I have used Coral Calypso, Riding Hood Red and Basic Grey, a colour combo that I have used so many times.

J'ai utilisé le même sketch que j'ai utilisé il y a quelque temps à partir d'un défi de Create with Connie and Mary pour faire une autre carte.
J'aime beaucoup cette grande fleur !!
J'ai utilisé Corail Calypso, Rouge Capulet et Gris Souris, une combinaison de couleurs que j'ai utilisé tant de fois.

Simply Scored Birthday

I made this card for a friend's birthday using my Stampin' Up! Simply Scored to create a tile background.

I then stamped on the flower stamp from Creative Elements.

Aren't Coral Calypso and Lucky Limeade such a bright and cheerful combination !!

J'ai fait cette carte pour anniversaire d'une amie en utilisant mon Stampin 'Up! Simply Scored de créer un fond de tuile.
J'ai ensuite tamponné avec le tampon de fleurs des Eléments créatifs.
Ne sont pas Corail Calypso et Citron Coco une telle combinaison lumineux et gai !!

I have used the Twitterpated DSP for my card and the Creative Elements stamp set where I have picked up the two colours from the papers, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze.

La carte d'aujourd'hui est pour le sketch de cette semaine chez TechnoStamper, n'oubliez pas que c'est aussi un saut de blog, alors sautez après pour voir toutes les autres belles cartes.
J'ai utilisé le DSP Roses En Liberty pour ma carte et les tampons Eléments Créatifs où j'ai repris les deux couleurs sur les papiers Rouge Capulet et Bleu Balkans.

3 Flowers

I really don't use this Creative Elements stamp set enough !!

The beautiful flowers and wonderful background were made using this set, a set that we got free at the Convention last year in Paris.

What another great afternoon we all had on Saturday.

Stephanie decided to make the 12 x 12 page but as she didn't know which photos she was going to add, she has taken it home to finish - can't wait to see it soon.

Stephanie a commencé une page 30 x 30 mais comme elle ne savait pas encore quelles photos elle allait ajouter, elle l'a prise pour la finir à la maison - j'ai hâte de la voir finie.

Scrapbook Sunday #86

For my class yesterday, there was also the option of making a 12 x 12 scrapbook page for those who didn't want to have a frame.
Pour mon cours hier, il y avait aussi la possibilité de faire une page de scrapbooking de 30cm x 30cm pour celles qui ne voulaient pas faire le cadre.


This is my page, I am so happy with it and I think my parents will be too !! They are even going to go online today to check it out - Hello Mum and Dad xx
I started out doing the border and decorating it before I choose a photo. I couldn't believe my luck when I got this one of my mum and dad with just the right colours.
This was taken last summer at Tibby Sheils Inn in the Borders.

Voici ma page, je suis tellement contente avec le résultat et je pense que mes parents le seront aussi !!. Ils vont allumé leur ordinateur exceptionnellement aujourd'hui pour la regarder.
J'ai commencé avec les bords et la décoration avant de choisir la photo. Je ne pouvais pas croire ma chance quand j'ai trouvé cette photo de mes parents où ils portent les bonnes couleurs.
La photo était prise l'été dernier au Tibby Sheils Inn dans les Borders (une région dans le sud de l'écosse).

Butterfly Love

Happy Valentines Day !!!
I've already showed you my Valentine card for my husband the other week, so today it's a butterfly card instead.
After I stamped the images I 'coloured' over the top with a blender pen, this gives a shadow effect round the edges.

Joyeux Fête de Saint Valentin !!!
Comme je vous ai déjà montré ma carte de Saint Valentin pour mon mari il y a quelques semaines, donc aujourd'hui c'est une carte de papillons à la place.

Après que j'ai tamponné les images, je les ai 'colorés' avec le crayon estompe, ce qui donne un effet d'ombrage autour des bords.

Workshop Cards

Last Friday evening I did a workshop at Angela's with a lovely group of ladies.

Angela made us the most wonderful buffet dinner and must have spent the entire day in the kitchen !!
Thank you for a great dinner Angela.
When we all had full bellies we moved into the next room and starting crafting. We made these two cards.
What a great evening with lots of crafting and chatting.
Thank you again Angela and I hope you enjoy all your free goodies when they arrive.
And Thank You to all the ladies who braved the cold to come along.

Vendredi dernier j'ai fait un atelier chez Angela avec un charmant groupe de dames.
Angela nous a préparé un buffet extraordinaire, elle a dû passer sa journée à la cuisine.
Merci pour ce grand dîner Angela.
Lorsque nous avions toutes le ventre plein, nous sommes passées dans la pièce voisine et la soirée créative à commencé.
Nous avons fait ces deux cartes.
Quelle belle soirée avec beaucoup de créativité et bavardage.
Merci encore Angela et j'espère que tu aimeras tous tes produits gratuits quand ils arriveront.
Et merci à toutes les dames qui ont bravé le froid pour venir.

Scrapbook Sunday #83

This week I decided to use a background page in Sahara Sand. It's not a colour I have used very much but I'm very pleased with the results.
The boys look like they are climbing quite high into the tree but really they were no more than a foot off the ground.

Cette semaine j'ai décidé d'utiliser un fond de page Sable du Sahara. C'est une couleur que je n'ai pas beaucoup utilisé mais je suis très contente du résultat.
Les garçons ont l'air d'avoir grimper assez haut dans l'arbre, mais en réalité ils sont à peine 30 centimètres du sol.

Christmas Club/Club de Noël

I can't believe that the Christmas club has now finished for this year.
It was a huge success and I plan to run it again from September 2012, but in the meantime I will start a Card Club from February.
We will continue to make 10 cards but this time it will be 5 cards and 2 of each.
Every 2 months we will make a selection of cards for men,women,children and babies.

Je ne peux pas croire que le Club de Noël soit maintenant terminé pour cette année.
Il a eu un énorme succès et j'ai l'intention de recommencer dès Septembre 2012, mais en attendant je vais commencer un Club des Cartes à partir du mois de Février.
Nous continuerons à faire 10 cartes mais cette fois-ci nous ferons 5 cartes différentes et 2 de chaque modèle.
Tous les deux mois nous ferons des cartes pour les hommes, les femmes, les enfants et les bébés.

Thank you to evertone who came along to the 4 classes and I hope that your friends and family love your handmade cards.
Merci à toutes celles qui sont venues aux 4 cours et j'espère que vos amis et votre famille aiment vos cartes faites à la main.
