Aren't these pictures of Martyn and Graham just so sweet ??

When I look at Graham this is still the little boy I see in my head,

all full of charm and a little bit cheeky !!

Ce sont des photos de Martyn et Graham adorable, n'est ce pas ??
Quand je regarde Graham c'est encore le petit garçon que je vois dans ma tête,
tout plein de charme et un peu impertinent !!

Dad's Birthday

Like my brother's card that I showed you yesterday, I have used lots of squares for my dad's card too.

But I felt that the background was too plain, so I jazzed it up using the Henry Builder Wheel and Old Olive ink.

And although I forgot to take a picture, I decorated the inside with this wheel as well.

Comme la carte de mon frère que je vous ai montré hier, j'ai utilisé beaucoup de carrés pour la carte de mon père aussi.
Mais je sentais que l'arrière-plan était trop vide, alors je l'ai égayé en utilisant la roue fusion Henry et l'encre Vert Olive.
Et bien que j'ai oublié de prendre une photo, j'ai décoré l'intérieur avec cette roue aussi.

Buttons Again

Oh my goodness I really do have a lot of birthdays at this time of the year !!

This one was for my brother's birthday last week.

I used the same sketch from Clean and Simple as I did here.

And instead of using a real button, I made my own in River Rock using a Embosslits with the Big Shot. This is the perfect way to get a button in any colour you need !!

Oh mon Dieu je fais vraiment beaucoup d'anniversaires à cette époque de l'année!
Celui-ci était pour l'anniversaire de mon frère la semaine dernière.
J'ai utilisé la même sketch de Clean and Simple comme je l'ai fait ici.
Et au lieu d'utiliser un vrai bouton, j'en ai fait mon propre en Roche Rivère en utilisant un Embosslits avec la Big Shot. C'est la moyen idéal pour obtenir un bouton dans n'importe quelle couleur dont vous avez besoin !!

Scrapbook Sunday #100

 We have had a week that really threw us back into the past.

Martyn had to go to a funeral of a dear friend and I watched a DVD that my aunt sent me of my granddad's 80th birthday.

Both were a shock.

I was OK watching the DVD and seeing younger versions of my family and Martyn but i cracked when I heard my granadad talk. I just never thought I would hear his voice again and I loved it.

It got me to thinking about other people who had been at our wedding and are no longer about but still in our thoughts.

These are both of our grans.

Look at Graham's face in the picture below, what a cheeky little monkey he looks !!

 

 Nous avons eu une semaine qui nous a vraiment fait retourner dans le passé.
Martyn a dû aller à l'enterrement d'un ami cher et j'ai regardé un DVD que ma tante m'a envoyé du 80e anniversaire de mon grand-père.
Les deux ont été un choc.
J'étais contente de regarder le DVD et de voir des versions plus jeunes de ma famille et Martyn, mais j'ai craqué quand j'ai entendu mon discours grand-père. Je n'ai jamais pensé que je pourrais entendre sa voix encore une fois et j'ai adoré.
Il m'a fait penser à d'autres personnes qui avaient participé à notre mariage et ne sont plus là, mais toujours dans nos pensées.
Ce sont deux de nos mamies.
Regardez le visage de Graham sur l'image ci-dessus, je ne sais pas ce qu'il a fait mais c'était quelque chose !!

Oh my goodness what a difference in 10 years !!!

Well for Graham any way.......why do we not feel 10 years older ???

You can see the sofa is still going strong.LOL

Oh la,la quelle différence en 10 ans!
Eh bien pour Graham quand même ....... pourquoi ne nous ne sentons pas 10 ans plus âgé??
Vous pouvez voir le canapé est toujours bien. MDR

New Challenge

So this week I thought I would try out some new challenge blogs.

Today it is Hanna and Friends who have a great sketch and the theme is cute.

Well what could be cuter than this adorable elephant !!

 

Donc, cette semaine, j'ai pensé que je pourrais essayer quelques blogs nouveau défi.
Aujourd'hui, il est Hanna and Friends qui ont un beau sketch et le thème est mignon.
Eh bien ce qui pourrait être plus mignon que cet éléphant adorable!!

Card Class

These are two of the card we made at Saturday's card class.

Both were cased from Pinterest (although I didn't make a note of who the original cards were made by).

Ce sont deux des cartes que nous avons faites pendant la Classe des cartes samedi dernier.
Toutes les deux ont été copié de cartes que j'ai vu sur Pinterest (malheureusement) je n'ai pas noté par qui les cartes originales ont été faites par).

I love the first one with the Tea Shoppe stamps and can't wait to try this in other colours.

J'aime la première avec les tampons Salon de Thé et je ne peux pas attendre pour les essayer dans d'autres couleurs.

Scrapbook Sunday #83

This week I decided to use a background page in Sahara Sand. It's not a colour I have used very much but I'm very pleased with the results.
The boys look like they are climbing quite high into the tree but really they were no more than a foot off the ground.

Cette semaine j'ai décidé d'utiliser un fond de page Sable du Sahara. C'est une couleur que je n'ai pas beaucoup utilisé mais je suis très contente du résultat.
Les garçons ont l'air d'avoir grimper assez haut dans l'arbre, mais en réalité ils sont à peine 30 centimètres du sol.

Simply Stampin' Week 44

This week at Simply Stampin' it's a colour challenge.
The colours are

Not Quite Navy
Early Expresso
River Rock
Very Vanilla

These colours just shouted MAN card at me !!
I had planned to use the to pieces of DSP at the main feature but I pulled this piece of spare Early Expresso card out of my scraps and the pre cut circle was just perfect for the second half of the card. I think it ties in perfectly with the Circus Circle stamps.

Ces couleurs m'a simplement crié carte d'HOMME.
J'avais prévu d'utiliser les moreaux de papiers comme les éléments principaux, mais j'ai tiré ce morceau de carton Couleur Café dans mes chutes de cartons et le cercle pré-découpé était parfait pour la deuxième moitié de la carte. Je pense qu'il cadre parfaitement avec les tampons Circus Circle.
