Scrapbook Sunday #14

I've gone for a different size of pages this week, I've used a piece of A4 instead of a 12x12 page as I think it suited the photo better.
This photo again comes from our holidays this year, when one day my sister and her kids and me and the boys all just got in the car and went for a drive. We ended up in Moffat, a small town in Dumfries and Galloway. What a find !!! There was a great park for the kids to run around in and a boating lake. The town was very pretty as well and we spent a fab day there.

Cette semaine j'ai utilisé un autre format de papier que d'habitude. J'ai pris une feuille de A4 au lieu d'une feuille de 30.5 x30.5, car elle met davantagela photo en valeur.
C'est encore nos vacances d'été. Un jour ma soeur, moi et nos enfants avons pris la voiture et sommes partis en aventure. Nous sommes arrivés à une petite ville qui s'appelle Moffat dans la sud-ouest de l'Ecosse. Quel trésor caché !!! Il y a un très beau parc pour les enfants avec un petit lac pour faire du bateau. Et la ville est très belle aussi et nous avons passé une belle journée ensemble.

New Catalogue Launch

This Saturday afternoon I'm inviting you to come over to mine and discover the new Ideas Book and Catalogue2010/2011. This afternoon will cost 8 Euros and you will get your own copy of the catalogue along with 2 Make and Takes and a small goody bag of Stampin' Up! products.

My craft room will be open from 2.00pm until 6.00pm this Saturday (2nd October) and for people who prefer weekdays I'll do it all over on Tuesday 5th October at the same times 2-6.

Ce samedi après-midi je vous invite chez moi pour découvrir le nouveau livre D'Idées et Catalogue 2010/2011. Cet après-midi coûte 8 Euros et vous aurez votre propre copie du Catalogue plus 2 projets à faire et un petit sac magique avec des produits Stampin' Up!

Mon atelier sera ouvert de 14h00 à 18H00 ce samedi (2 octobre) et pour celles qui préfèrent je recommencerai le mardi 5 octobre au même horaires (14h-18h).

Bright Flowers

I may have not posted a card recently but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. Stampin' Up!'s year get-together will be happening early November and there will be lots of swapping. So I've been working on that, I will post pictures after the convention.
These flowers started off as part of one of the swaps and then I changed my colour scheme, so I thought that I would make up some cards with them instead.
Remember that the new Ideas Book and Catalogue is out on Friday, so if you like these ribbons you have 2 days left to order !!!
Même si je n'ai pas mis à jour mon blog depuis un moment, je ne chaume pas. Le rendez-vous annuel des démonstratrices Stampin' Up! se tient au mois de novembre et je prépare mes swaps que je vous montrerai après la convention.
Ces fleurs ont commencé leurs vies pour un de mes échanges et puis j'ai changé les coloris que voulais utiliser, donc j'ai décidé de leur redonner de la vie sur une carte.
N'oubliez pas que le nouveau Livre d'Idées et Catalogue sort ce vendredi, alors si vous aimez ces deux rubans il vous reste que 2 jours pour les commander !!!

Scrapbook Sunday #13 & Stampin Royalty Challenge #38

Another of our holidays snaps this week. We went searching for 'gold in them there hills'!!!! And appartently there really is, but we only found some Fools Gold and lots and lots of little gems. We only had a little bucket to pan through but believe me it took about 2 hours to get through it all. We were all very happy to come away with our little bag of precious stones.

Encore des photos de vacances cette semaine. Nous sommes allés à la recherche d'or !!! Oui vraiment il existe dans ce coin de l'Ecosse, mais nous n'avons trouvé que du pyrite de fer mais la terre était pleine de petites pierres précieuses. Nous avons eu chacun un petit seau à vider mais croyez-moi ça a pris environ 2 heures pour le faire. Nous étions très contents d'être partis avec nos petits sacs de pierres.

Scrapbook Sunday #12

While on holiday at my parents this summer my husband whisked the four of us off for a mid week break to the Perthshire countryside. En route to the hotel we stopped and explored a few places including a walk in Aberfeldy. The statue is of Robert Burns who wrote a poem called 'The Birks of Aberfeldy'.

Pendant nos vacances en Écosse chez ma famille, mon mari nous a réservé une petite surprise en famille avec un séjour dans le beau paysage de Perthshire. En route vers l'hôtel nous avons visité plusieurs lieux touristiques y compris la petite ville d'Aberfeldy où nous avons faire une balade. Training Swaps

Last night I had my first training evening with Stampin' Up!. And what fun it was !! Although trying to drive through Gerland (and I don't think is was because of the Cup Davis Tennis match between France and Argentina) at 5.30pm on a Friday evening was a bit of a stressful start. We got a fab set of stamps, which I can't show you yet...not until October 1st (but you'll love them !!!).
Here are some of the swaps that I received, again can't show you mine until October either(I used mostly products from the new Ideas Book and Catalogue 2010/2011.
Thank you to everyone for the fab swaps and to Jerome and Geraldine for organising such a great event.

Hier soir, j'ai eu ma première formation avec Stampin' Up!. Et quelle soirée amusante!! Malgré les embouteillages à Gerland à 17h30 (et je ne pense pas que c'était à cause du match de la Coupe Davis de Tennis entre la France et l'Argentine). Nous avons eu un très beau set de tampons en cadeau, mais je ne peux pas vous le dévoiler avant le 1er octobre (mais vous allez adorer les nouveaux set de tampons !!!).

Voici des swaps(échanges) que j'ai reçu de la part des autres démonstratrices, je ne peux pas encore vous montrer le mien car je n'ai utilisé que des produits du nouveau Livre d'Idées et Catalogue 2010/2011.
Je voudrais remercier toutes les filles pour leurs swaps et aussi Jérôme et Geraldine pour tous leurs efforts à mettre cette formidable soirée en place.
