Blog Hop de Decembre et Creative Christmas Project #4

Bonsoir et bienvenue au blog hop de decembre organisé par quelques demo françaises.

Mais avant, regarder ce que j'ai fait.

C'est un home déco de Noël que nous avons fait pendant notre journée créatif mi-novembre.

Mais depuis j'ai fais plusiers fois en cours (encore 2 cette semaine !! )

Au début je n'en faisais que en bleu mais j'ai proposé une version rouge/vert que tout le monde a aimé.

Les bases sont de dessous verres que j'ai couvert avec les papiers de Noël et quelques décors pour que chacun soient differents mais en harmonie.

Et le touche finale c'est le flocon de neige du catalogue Autumn/Hiver

But first, look at what I did.

It is a Christmas home decoration that we did during our creative day mid-November.
But since I have made it several times in classes (another 2 this week !!)

At first I only made it in blue but I suggested a red/green version that everyone loved.

The bases are beer mats that I covered with papers and some Christmas decorations so that each are different but consistent.

 And the final touch is the snowflake from the Autumn/Winter catalogue.

Scrapbook Sunday #125

Isn't Graham just so cute in this photo !!

He loves wearing a Santa hat. Even now.

 He came home from Archery on Friday evening proudly wearing a new one.

But his favourite one flashes and plays a tune.

 Graham n'est pas trop mignon sur cette photo!

Il aime porter un chapeau du père. Même maintenant.
Il est rentré de tir à l'arc vendredi soir en portant fièrement un nouveau.

Mais son favori est un qui clignote et joue une mélodie.

Next Class Saturday 15th December

This coming Saturday we will be making the Christmas decoration that is on the cover of the Autumn/Winter catalogue.

You can make it in the colours of your choice, so that it compliments your our decorations.

I am currently getting kits ready in blues and pinks for a group on Wednesday.

So the sky is your limit - just let me know so I can get everything ready in time !!

The class costs 10 Euros and includes everything to make one of these beautiful keepsakes.

Samedi prochain nous allons faire la décoration de Noël qui est sur ​​la couverture du catalogue Automne / Hiver.

Vous pouvez le faire dans les couleurs de votre choix, de sorte qu'il complimente vos propres décorations.

Jeprépare des kits prêts dans les bleus et les roses pour un groupe mercredi.

Donc le ciel est votre limite - faites le moi savoir afin que je puisse découper tout à temps!

La classe coûte 10 euros et comprend tout pour faire un de ces beaux souvenirs.

Scrapbook Sunday #123

While I'm waiting for Martyn to come back with photos from the celebrations in Lyon, here are our own lights.

Each year most Lyon families put candles like these on their windowsills.

I've probably told you this before, but when Graham was about 2 years old, he thought that it was the garden's birthday. I guess he only saw candles on birthday cakes !!

Alors que j'attends Martyn à revenir avec des photos de la fête à Lyon, voici nos propres lumières.

Chaque année, la plupart des familles lyonnaises mettent des bougies comme celles-ci sur leurs fenêtres.

J'ai probablement dit ça avant, mais quand Graham avait environ 2 ans, il a pensé que c'était l'anniversaire du jardin. Je suppose qu'il ne voyait des bougies que sur les gâteaux d'anniversaire !!

Birthday Party

Yesterday I did a birthday party for a lovely little girl who is 7 today !!

So, she and her friends made these 3 projects as her birthday activity.

It was a fun afternoon, and everyone got sticky fingers but they all finished. 

 Hier, j'ai fait une fête d'anniversaire pour une jolie petite fille qui a 7 ans aujourd'hui!

Alors, elle et ses amis ont fait ces 3 projets comme son activité d'anniversaire.

C'était un après-midi amusant, et tout le monde avait le colle aux doigts mais ils ont tous fini.

Sunny Challenges #69

This week's challenge at Sunny Challenges is a sketch. 

It's a bit different to the usual banner and pennant that are popular at the moment.

I have tied in the colours and the designs on the paper for my card.

Christmas Decorations

 Last week I did a workshop with Beatrice and her lovely patchwork ladies.

We made the famous Christmas Decoration from the cover of the Autumn/Winter catalogue.

We had a great afternoon and everyone was very happy with their decoration.

 La semaine dernière, j'ai fait un atelier avec Béatrice et ses dames patchwork belles.

Nous avons fait la fameuese décoration de Noël du couverture du catalogue Automne / Hiver.

Nous avons passé un excellent après-midi et tout le monde était très heureux avec leur décoration.

Sunny Challenges #66

This week's challenge at Sunny Challenges is a sketch (and a colour which I didn't use).

I decided to make a Christmas card using the products on offer this month - the Keepsake Ornament stamp set and Candlelight Christmas DSP -and I have also used the Festive Paper piercing pack that you get free if you buy both the stamp set and the DSP.

Today I have made another card to show you the wonderful Ornament Keepsakes stamps that have the matching Festive Paper Piercing Kit on offer this month.

I stamped the bauble in Versmark and then Midnight Muse before triple heat embossing in Clear Embossing Powder. Doesn't it look shiny !!

J'ai tamponné la boule dans Versmark puis Muse de minuit avant que l'embossé à chaud trois fois avec la poudre à embosser transparente. N'est-il pas un aspect brillant!

Christmas Club October 2012

I've had a very busy week and haven't managed to upload my Scrapbook Sunday page today but I'll put it on this week.

So instead I will share the cards we made at the Christmas Club yesterday.

Both were fun cards for the Holiday Season.

 J'ai eu une semaine très chargée et n'ai pas réussi à télécharger mon Scrapbook dimanche page aujourd'hui, mais je vais le mettre cette semaine.

Donc je vais plutôt partager les cartes que nous avons faites au club de Noël hier.

Les deux étaient des cartes amusantes pour la période des Fêtes.

Sunny Challenges 60/12

 This week I have been very lucky and have been asked to be a 

Guest Designer for Sunny Challenges.

The challenge is a sketch one with added embossing.

I chose to use heat embossing for my Christmas card, Cherry Cobbler on the Ornament Keepsake stamp and the En Français stamp has been heat embossed using the new Sugar & Spice perfumed embossing powder. It's such a shame you can't smell my card too - it smells good enough to eat !!

 Cette semaine, j'ai eu beaucoup de chance et ont été invités à être

  Guest Designer pour Sunny Challenges.

Le défi est de sketch avec l'embossage ajouté.

J'ai choisi d'utiliser Embossage à chaud pour ma carte de Noël, en Cerise Carmin sur le tampon de Ornamnet Keepsakes et le tampon En Français a été embossé en relief en utilisant la nouvelle Epices Sucrées poudre de embossage parfumée. C'est vraiment dommage que vous ne pouvez pas sentir ma carte de aussi - ça sent à croquer!
