SU'mmer Camp Edition 2013

 Last weekend, A group of demos got together at Stéphanie's house for the first SU'mmer Camp.

What a great couple of days we had, and I loved getting to meet some fabulous new friends !!

Here are some of the projects we made. I have one more to show you later and I unfortunately can't show you Corinne's project as I will be sending it off to my niece as an idea for her wedding, but it was very, very pretty.

I would just like to say thank you to Stéphanie and Max for letting us invade their lovely home for the weekend and I can't wait to see all the girls again for the Winter Camp !!

Le weekend dernier, un groupe de démos se sont réunis à la maison de Stéphanie pour le premier camp de SU'mmer.

Quels beaux jours que nous avons eues, et j'ai adoré rencontrer de nouvelles amies fabuleuses !!

Voici quelques-uns des projets que nous avons faites. J'ai une autre à vous montrer plus tard et je ne peux malheureusement pas vous montrer le projet de Corinne que je vais l'envoyer à ma nièce comme une idée pour son mariage, mais c'était très, très jolie.

Je voudrais simplement dire merci à Stéphanie et Max de nous laisser envahir leur belle maison pour le week-end et je ne peux pas attendre de voir toutes les filles de nouveau pour le camp d'hiver !!

Ornament Embossing

Today I have made another card to show you the wonderful Ornament Keepsakes stamps that have the matching Festive Paper Piercing Kit on offer this month.

I stamped the bauble in Versmark and then Midnight Muse before triple heat embossing in Clear Embossing Powder. Doesn't it look shiny !!

Aujourd'hui, j'ai fait une autre carte pour vous montrer les magnifiques tampons Ornaments Keepsakes qui ont le lot de planches pour perforations correspondant proposés ce mois-ci.

J'ai tamponné la boule dans Versmark puis Muse de minuit avant que l'embossé à chaud trois fois avec la poudre à embosser transparente. N'est-il pas un aspect brillant!

Sunny Challenges 60/12

 This week I have been very lucky and have been asked to be a 

Guest Designer for Sunny Challenges.

The challenge is a sketch one with added embossing.

I chose to use heat embossing for my Christmas card, Cherry Cobbler on the Ornament Keepsake stamp and the En Français stamp has been heat embossed using the new Sugar & Spice perfumed embossing powder. It's such a shame you can't smell my card too - it smells good enough to eat !!

 Cette semaine, j'ai eu beaucoup de chance et ont été invités à être

  Guest Designer pour Sunny Challenges.

Le défi est de sketch avec l'embossage ajouté.

J'ai choisi d'utiliser Embossage à chaud pour ma carte de Noël, en Cerise Carmin sur le tampon de Ornamnet Keepsakes et le tampon En Français a été embossé en relief en utilisant la nouvelle Epices Sucrées poudre de embossage parfumée. C'est vraiment dommage que vous ne pouvez pas sentir ma carte de aussi - ça sent à croquer!

Less Is More One Layer

I love the challenge on Less is more this week.
One Layer Only using Script.
I started with a Naturals Ivory card stock which I stamped with the En Français stamp in Sahara Sand. I then stamped a wavy line of flowers from the Simply Soft hostess set, and I finally coloured in the flowers with the SU watercolours pencils.

J'aime le défi sur Less Is More cette semaine.
Une seule couche à l'aide de script.
J'ai commencé avec un papier cartonné Ivoire Naturel que j'ai tamponné avec le gros tampon ' En Français' et l'encreur Sable du Sahara. J'ai ensuite marqué une ligne ondulée de fleurs du set d'hôtesse Simply Soft, et j'ai finalement coloré les fleurs avec les crayons aquarelles SU.

Christmas Wrapping

When I saw the colour challenge on Create with Connie and Mary I love it but didn't really want to make another Christmas card. So I thought about it for a while and decided that the best thing to make would be a box to give Graham his main present in.
So this is my Kindle give box that's not girly despite the ribbon - red is his favourite colour after all.

Quand j'ai vu le défi de couleurs sur le site Create with Connie and Mary je l'ai aimé mais je n'avais pas envie de faire une autre carte de Noël. Alors j'ai pensé pendant un moment et j'ai décidé que la meilleure chose à faire serait une boîte pour donner à Graham son cadeau de Noël.
Donc, c'est ma boîte Kindle qui m'est pas trop fille malgré le ruban - le rouge est sa couleur préférée après tout.

Simply Stampin' Week 34 & Blue Christmas #5

Welcome to Simply Stampin' and this week's sketch challenge.
I have also made my card in blues to carry on my theme for the week.
For the middle panel I have stamped the En Français stamp in Bashful Blue before silver heat embossing the Medallion stamp. I put one of the beautiful Antique brads in the middle of the Medallion.
Behind the image I have used some Not Quite Navy 3/8 taffeta ribbon, a length of Lace Ribbon border (laced with Marina Mist 1/8 taffetas ribbon) and some Vanilla cardstock stamped with the Striped Builder wheel in Night of Navy.

Bienvenue à Simply Stampin' et le défi sketch de cette semaine.
J'ai aussi fait ma carte dans les bleus à poursuivre mon thème pour la semaine.
Pour le panneau du milieu, j'ai tamponné le tampon En Français dans le coloris Bleu Timide, avant d'embosser à chaud le tampon Medallion en argent. J'ai mis une des belles attaches parisienne d'époque au milieu du Medallion.
Derrière l'image j'ai utilisé un morceau de ruban taffetas 1cm en Presque Marine, une longueur à la perforatrice Bordure Dentelle Fleurie (lacées avec du ruban taffetas 3.2mm en Murmure Marin) et un moreau du papier cartonné tamponné avec la roue fusion Striped encré en Bleu Nuit.

Bright Butterflies

I love using my Big Shot and now keep it out on my desk to use at any moment !!
Here I've used the lovely butterflies (Beautiful Wings Embosslits die) in Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi. I also used the Square Lattice embossing folder to add a little bit of detail at the bottom.

J'adore utiliser mon Big Shot et maintenant je le garde sur mon bureau comme ça je peux l'utiliser à tout moment.
Sur cette carte je l'ai utilisé pour faire ces papillons tous beaux (Poinçons Embosslits Ailes Magnifiques) dans les coloris Fruits des Bois, Rouge Rouge, Pointe Pacifique et Wasabi Insoumis.
Le Big Shot a aussi fait la décoration du bas avec le Plioir à Gaufrage Treillis Carré.

Workshop Cards

Recently I did a workshop at my friend Laura's house and these were the 2 projects that we did.
What a fun evening we had and Laura's two girls had a great time crafting as well.
It's so great showing people how great Stampin' Up! products are, if you would like to host a workshop then just give me a call or drop me an email to organise a date.

Récemment, j'ai fait un atelier à la maison de mon amie Laura
et ce sont les deux projets que nous avons fait.
Quelle agréable soirée nous avons eu et ses deux filles ont passé un bon moment créatif.
C'est tellement bien de partager les beaux produits de Stampin' Up!, si vous souhaitez organiser un atelier, il faut juste m'appeler ou envoyez-moi un courriel pour organiser un date.

More Monochrome

Firstly here is the box I made for the first set of cards
I made for the Monochrome challenge over at Less is More

But I as I may have said already I love Monochrome, so I'm back again with a second set.
This time I put them in a little pag with a Big Shot Top Note topper.
Hope you like them !!

En premier, je vous montre la petite boîte que j'ai fait pour mes premières cartes
faites pour le défi sur Less is More

Mais comme je vous ai déjà dit, j'adore faire des cartes en monochrome, alors je reviens avec un second set. Cette fois-ci j'ai fait un petit sachet fini, avec un topper fait avec le poinçon Top Note, pour les mettre.

Big Backgrounds

As promised last week, here are some more cards made with the huge background stamps from Stampin' Up!
For the first card I've used En Français stamped in Basic Black and down the middle I've used the Sanded stamp in Melon Mambo. The flower was made using the Flower Daisy #2 die for the Big Shot. If you would like to know how to make one of these flowers then pop over to Jo's blog where she shows you how to in a free tutorial.

The second card is an all green affair, I used Pear Pizzazz with Always Artichoke.(I'm always amazed at just how many shades of green there are in nature !!) This card could quite easily be used as an invitation as well.

Comme promis, voilà d'autres cartes faites avec les gros tampons de fond de Stampin' Up!

Pour la première carte j'ai utilisé En Français avec l'encreur Noir Nu avec au milieu Sanded en Melon Mambo. La fleur est faite avec le poinçon Flowers Daisy #2 pour le Big Shot. Si vous voulez faire une de ces fleurs je vous invite à visiter le blog de Jo où elle a mis un tutoriel gratuit.

Sur la deuxième carte il n'y a que des verts, j'ai utilisé Riche Raisin avec Artichaut Chaud ! (Je suis toujours en admiration de tous les tons de verts dans la nature !!!) Cette carte peut se changer en carte d'invitation très facilement.

A Long Time Coming !!

This card actually took ages to make. I started off with the card base and the Vanilla Top Note shape and added the Rose Red seam Binding...........then it sort of stopped for a couple of weeks as I wasn't sure how I wanted to decorate it.
Finally I was sitting one afternoon and the rest of the design just came to me.
The large flower is stamped with Versamark and the En Français background stamp, the second flower is embossed in the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and finally the 3rd flower was again put through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder, as was the end of the Top Note die in Springtime Vintage DSP.
I hope you like it as much as I do.

Cette carte m'a pris beaucoup de temps à faire. J'avais commencé par la carte elle-même et le poinçons Top Note en Vanille et le galon en Rose-Rouge.............et puis c'était arrêté pendant quelques semaines car je n'étais pas sure comment je voulais la décorer.

Enfin un après-midi j'étais dans mon atelier et l'idée est venue.
La plus grande fleur est tamponné en Versamark avec le tampon du fond En Français, la deuxième j'ai embossé avec le plioir à gaufrage Perfection à Pois dans le Big Shot et puis la troisième fleur était mis dans le Big Shot avec le plioir à gaufrage Treillis Carré, tout comme le papier design Printemps Rétro coupé par le Big Shot.

Tuesday's Challenge Card

Can you tell it's the holidays yet ???
I've had lots of time to craft while the boys play outside in the glorious sunshine.
Today's challenge comes from Pals Paper Challenge.
I've also used the colours from another challenge over at Stampin' For Fun Divas.

J'ai beaucoup de temps pour créer pendant que les garçons jouent dehors sous ce beau soleil.
