Dynamic Duos #4

When I first saw the colours challenges at Dynamic Duos this is the week I was looking forward to the most.

Quand j'ai vu les défis de couleurs sur Dynamic Duos, c'est la semaine que  j'attendais la plus.

Monochrome - my favourite colour ways !!

Monochrome - mes couleurs préférées !!

For my card I have started with a Marina Mist base which I stamped with the Medallion stamp in Marina Mist ink, before adding a Marina Mist label from Everything Eleanor and 3 butterflies in Bashful Blue and Marina Mist. I heat embossed these with clear embossing powder to give strong,shiny colours. I finished with a lovely little stamp from the It's Your Day stamp set.

This is a great little set that is hidden on page 104 of the catalogue.

Pour ma carte, j'ai commencé avec une base Murmure Marin que j'ai tamponné avec le tampon Médaillon avec l'encreur murmure Marin, avant d'ajouter une étiquette Mist Marina du set Everything Eleanor et 3 papillons en Bleu Timide et Murmure Marin. J'ai embossé à chaud ces derniers avec la poudre à embosser transparente pour donner des couleurs fortes et brillantes. J'ai terminé avec un tampon charmant du set  C'est ton Jour.
Il s'agit d'un bel ensemble qui est caché à la page 104 du catalogue.

Not Christmas !!

I do have another couple of things Christmassy to share with you but not today. Today I have done a card in White White and Brushed Silver to play along with Create with Connie and Mary.
I've also added a little bit of extra shine with some silver embossing.

J'ai encore une ou deux choses de Noël à partager avec vous mais pas aujourd'hui. Aujourd'hui j'ai fait une carte en Murmure Blanc et Argent Brossé pour jouer avec Create with Connie and Mary.
J'ai aussi ajouté un peu d'éclat supplémentaire avec un peu d'embossage à chaud en argent.
J'espère qu'elle vous plaît.

Simply Stampin' #27

I loved the challenge that Simply Stampin' set this week.

I feel that up until recently I didn't use this wonderful design enough
and now I seem to be using it all the time.

This is also the card that I hope will earn me a place on the Simply Stampin' Design Team.

J'ai aimé le défi que Simple Stampin' a fixé cette semaine.

Je pense que jusqu'à récemment, je n'ai pas assez utilisé ce tampon merveilleux

et maintenant il me semble que je en utilisant tout le temps.

C'est aussi la carte qui je l'espère me gagnera une place dans le Design Team de Simply Stampin'

Workshop Cards

Recently I did a workshop at my friend Laura's house and these were the 2 projects that we did.
What a fun evening we had and Laura's two girls had a great time crafting as well.
It's so great showing people how great Stampin' Up! products are, if you would like to host a workshop then just give me a call or drop me an email to organise a date.

Récemment, j'ai fait un atelier à la maison de mon amie Laura
et ce sont les deux projets que nous avons fait.
Quelle agréable soirée nous avons eu et ses deux filles ont passé un bon moment créatif.

Flying Around

After a bit of a cold and wet weekend the sun seems to have come back. So here is a fun and bright card to match the weather.

I've used Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry, this is such a cheerful clolour combinasion that I will be using it again.



Après un weekend froid et pluvieux le soleil a fait son retour. Alors voilà une carte pleine de couleur qui ressemble au temps.

J'ai utilisé Vert Olive, Tarte au Potiron et Fruit des Bois, j'aime tellement cette combinaison que je vais sûrement la réutiliser.

April Class

Firstly I would like to apologise to the ladies who came on Saturday afternoon....I forgot to make you a cup of tea !!!! I'm so sorry. When you left I found the chocolate biscuits and groaned, so sorry again !!
Everyone loved the project we made though......phew !!!
This is it, a double tri-fold stutter album.
I've used pictures of my cute nieces as I am so loving Rose Red at the moment. I will do another one with more masculine colours so I can give it to my boys and my nephew.

Premièrement je dois faire mes excuses aux dames qui sont venues chez moi samedi après-midi........j'ai oublié de vous faire une tasse de thé !!! Quand vous êtes parties j'ai retrouvé les biscuits au chocolat et je gémissais, alors je m'excuse encore !!
Heureusement tout le monde a adoré le projet.....ouf !!!

Voilà ce que nous avons fait, un album double tri-fold.
J'ai pris les photos de mes nièces car en ce moment j'adore tellement Rose Rouge. J'en ferai un autre dans les tons plus masculins bientôt pour mes garçons et mon neveu.

Monday Challenges

When I sat and had a look round all the various challenge blogs yesterday morning three stood out for me.

The Color Dare #98
Less is More #4
Color Throwdown #130

So in my first card I've used The Color Dare colours along with the Less is More challenge of 3 squares.
The strange thing is that the design of the card had been in my head all night as an Anniversary card for my parents, so it was just luck that it fitted with the 2 challenges.
Spooky or what !!

Alors sur ma première carte j'ai utilisé les coloris du challenge Color Dare et le dessin du blog Less is More.
Mais l'idée de cette carte a été dans la tête toute la nuit avant comme carte d'anniversaire de mariage de mes parents, alors c'était que de la chance qu'elle pouvait faire les challenges aussi.
Étrange ou quoi !!!


For this second card I decided to stay with the same Greenhouse Garden set and used the wonderful colour combo on Color Throwdown.

Pour cette deuxième carte j'ai décidé de continuer avec les mêmes tampons du set Greenhouse Garden et d'utiliser les coloris du challenge Color Throwndown.

Butterfly Kisses

This isn't the card I planned on showing you today, but for some reason my Stampin' Up! order is stuck in Paris so I can't show you some more cards using the fab Sale-A-Bration sets. Soon though I promise.

I made this card to enter the Utah Divas International Colour Challenge #17

Isn't it funny how something can just awaken old memories, a smell, a sound even the dog toothed pattern on the Marina Mist Bufferfly. My nana nearly always wore dog tooth check patterns on her trousers or skirts and doing this card just made me think of her.

Ce n'est pas la carte que j'avais en tête de vous présenter aujourd'hui mais malheureusement mon colis de Stampin' Up! est coincé à Paris et ça veux dire que je ne peux pas vous montrer d'autres cartes avec les tampons de la Sale-A-Bration, mais bientôt je vous le promets.

J'ai fait cette carte pour le challenge sur le blog d'Utah Divas International

C'est drôle comment quelque chose puisse réveiller la mémoire, une odeur, un son où même le dessin sur le papillon Murmure Marin. Ma grand-mère a presque toujours porté ce dessin sur son pantalon où sa jupe et en faisant cette carte j'ai pensé à elle.
