French Demos Blog Hop

 Welcome to this September Blog Hop organised by some French Demos to celebrate the launch of the new Autumn/Winter catalogue.

I have used the new Autumnal Designer Series papers called Sweater Weather (page 18).

I also added some of the new Regal Stack and Neutrals Stack papers too(page 152 A/C).

To finish off, I added some Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon and the Thankful from the new Thinlets Expressions (page 36).

Scrapbook Sunday #140

Last week we were invited down to a new friend's house in Saint Romain En Gal so the boys could have a play in her pool while we scrapped and chatted.

(Actually I had been down at the weekend too, but more of that another day !!)

I took my new camera and got a couple of photos of the boys having fun.

La semaine dernière, nous avons été invités chez une nouvelle amie à Saint Romain en Gal pour les garçons pouvaient jouer dans sa piscine pendant que nous discutions et créé.

(En fait, j'avais été chez elle le week-end aussi, mais plus de nouvelles de cela un autre jour!)

J'ai pris mon nouvel appareil photo et j'ai pris quelques photos des garçons qui s'amusent.

Scrapbook Sunday #136

I got Martyn this tee shirt for his last birthday as a fun extra.

I don't like facial hair, so i thought that he would be happy to have moustaches on his tee shirt instead. But now everytime he wears it, he wants to grow one !!

So I cut out a black moustache and got him to stick it on while I took a photo, so now he knows how he would look if he ever did grow a real one.

J'ai acheté ce tee shirt pour Martyn pour son dernier anniversaire comme un petit plus rigolo

Je n'aime pas les poils du visage, alors j'ai pensé qu'il serait heureux d'avoir des moustaches sur son tee-shirt à la place. Mais maintenant, chaque fois qu'il le porte, il en veut un !!

Donc j'ai coupé la moustache noire et lui ai demandé de le coller pendant que je lui prenais une photo, alors maintenant il sait comment il aurait l'air si jamais il en pousse un vrai.

More Creative Elements

I used the same sketch that I used a while ago from a challenge from Create With Connie and Mary to make another card. 

I love this big flower so much !!

I have used Coral Calypso, Riding Hood Red and Basic Grey, a colour combo that I have used so many times.

J'ai utilisé le même sketch que j'ai utilisé il y a quelque temps à partir d'un défi de Create with Connie and Mary pour faire une autre carte.
J'aime beaucoup cette grande fleur !!
J'ai utilisé Corail Calypso, Rouge Capulet et Gris Souris, une combinaison de couleurs que j'ai utilisé tant de fois.

Button Time

I'm sure that we are all guilty of not using some of our stamp set enough...right.

Hope it's not just me !!!
Well my Button, Button set doesn't get used nearly enough which is such a shame as it is a pretty little set.

Je suis sûre que nous sommes tous coupables de ne pas utiliser une partie de nos sets de timbres assez ... n'est ce pas.
J'espère que ça n'est pas seulement moi!
Eh bien, mon set Button, Button n'est pas utilisé assez ce qui est une honte car c'est un joli petit ensemble.

2 Challenges in 1

 

 I managed a little crafty time yesterday afternoon while my parents enjoyed the sun.

It was hot here and I went out later once the heat died down a little.

So this is the card I made using the colour challenge from Colour Q and the sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesdays.

I loved both challenges and have made a note of both to use again sometime.

J'ai réussi d'avoir un peu de temps créatif hier après-midi, alors que mes parents ont apprécié le soleil.
Il faisait chaud ici et je suis allée plus tard une fois que la chaleur a baissé un peu.
Donc, c'est la carte que j'ai fait en utilisant le défi couleur de Colour Q et le croquis de Try Stampin' On Tuesdays.
J'ai adoré les deux défis et j'ai fait une note pour les utiliser à nouveau.

Time for Tea

We have my parents visiting at the moment so there are lots of cups of tea being drunk.

Someone once told me that drinking a hot drink in the heat was more refreshing...I don't know if this is true or not as I love nothing more than ice cold water.

What's your favourite ??

Nous avons la visite de mes parents en ce moment donc nous buvons beaucoup de tasses de thé.
Quelqu'un m'a dit une fois que boire une boisson chaude dans la chaleur est plus rafraîchissante ... Je ne sais pas si cela est vrai ou non comme je n'aime rien plus que l'eau glacée.

There must be more and I have to find them.....

J'ai trouvé ces vieilles photos d'identité scolaires cette semaine et comme elles sont si petites que je n'ai pas envie de les perdre à nouveau, alors j'ai fait une page tout de suite.

500th Post

 This is unbelievably my 500th post since I started my blog in April 2010.

Scrapbook Sunday #28

Over the holidays I finally watched the film 'The Other Boleyn Girl'. I have been avoiding watching it as I was afraid to be disappointed by the accents but I actually really enjoyed it and I'm now glad that I've seen it.
These are the real costumes from the film and they were on display at Hampton Court Palace when we visited a couple of summers ago.



Pendant les vacances j'ai enfin regardé le film 'Deux Soeurs Pour Un Roi'. C'est un film que j'ai hésité à regarder parce que je craignais d'entendre les accents (les acteurs principaux sont tous américains et non anglais) mais finalement j'ai bien aimé et maintenant je suis contente de l'avoir vu.
Ce sont des vrais costumes du film et nous avons pu les admirer à Hampton Court Palace il y deux ans.
