What a great name for a great colour!

I love this colour....and it goes so well with Old Olive another of my favourites. This is quite a simple card but the colour combination just brings it to life.

Quel joli nom pour un si joli coloris !

J'adore cette couleur... et ça se marie très bien avec Vert Olive une autre de mes préférées. C'est une carte assez simple mais c'est la combinaison de couleurs qui lui donne vie.

What a busy week I've had and not found the time to post on here, I'll make up for it this week!!! This photo was taken on the first day of term, just outside the school. Eldest's last year in primary, so special for him.

Sunny Holiday Weekend

Finally a long weekend that OH gets off!!! And it's his birthday on Sunday. So this will be his card. Tried to use more masculine colours (no pinks, purples etc....) with the Trendy Trees set. I got the template for the card from a blog in England.
The weather promised to be good, so hopefully a good weekend will be in store.

Enfin un long weekend que mon mari peut prendre!!! Et en plus dimanche c'est son anniversaire . Voilà sa carte, j'ai essayé d'utilisier des coloris plus masculin (pas de rose ni violet.....) avec les tampons Trendy Trees. J'ai pris le modèle sur un blog en Angleterre.

Le temps promet d'être beau ce weekend en espérant de passer un très bon moment.

Blue Butterflies

I love this stamp set 'Flight of the Butterfly'. It just lends itself so easily to so many projects and colours. Here I've kept it simple in shades of blue with a little aubergine thrown it for good measure.

J'adore ces tampons 'Sur les Ailes d'un Papillon'. C'est tellement facile à utiliser dans tant de projets et dans tous les coloris. Sur cette carte j'ai pris des tons de bleus avec un petit peu d'aubergine.

Scrapbook Sunday

As much as I love card making, I just find scrap booking on a Sunday the most relaxing hobby to do. Maybe it has something to do with looking at the photos and wondering how to show them off to their best. And watching my little ones grow up without realising how quickly it has happened.

Autant j'aime faire des cartes, faire du scrapbooking les dimanches après-midi je trouve ça très relaxant. C'est peut-être parce que je peux regarder toutes mes photos, décider comment les mettre en valeur et voir comment mes petits ont grandi et m'apercevoir comment le temps passe vite.

Origami Pouch

Had a lovely afternoon crafting with my friend Anita, we did lots of projects and chatted just as much as our fingers worked.
Anita is a big fan of Origami and I did this without even realising that the end result would need neither glue nor DST.

J'ai passé un très bel après- midi avec mon amie Anita, nous avons beaucoup travaillé en papotant autant. Anita aime beaucoup faire de l'origami et je faisais mon projet sans savoir qu'à la fin je n'aurai besoin ni de colle ni de scotch double face.
