Vintage Vogue Farewell

I was looking through some old swaps that I got as last year's convention and found all my card candy swaps. Normally I don't even open these as they are all so beautiful but I decided as Vintage Vogue only has two left in the catalogue that it would be such a shame not to open the packet and make some cards up.

So I made this set of card using Nicky's pretty decorations.

 Je regardais mes anciens swaps que j'ai eu à la convention de l'année dernière et j'ai trouvé tous mes swaps de bonbons cartes. Normalement, je n'aime même pas les ouvrir car ils sont tous tellement beaux, mais j'ai décidé que comme Vague Vintage reste pour seulement deux dans le catalogue que ce serait un tel dommage de ne pas ouvrir le paquet et de faire quelques cartes.

  

Donc J'ai fait cette ensemble de carte à l'aide de jolies décorations de Nicky.

Sunny Challenges #58

Sunny Challenges have a challenge of a sketch and colours of Black and White this week.

So I have used the wonderful Vintage Vogue stamp set, which is another that will be retiring at the end of the month.

I embossed the Friends stamp with black embossing powder and cut it out before layering onto a new Big Shot die. I also used the fun new shaped templates for paper piercing.

J'ai donc utilisé le set merveilleux Vintage Vogue qui est un autre qui prendra sa retraite à la fin du mois.

J'ai embossé à chaud le tampon Friends avec la poudre à embosser noire et ensuite j'ai découpé avant la superposition sur une nouvelle poinçon pour le Big Shot. J'ai aussi utilisé les nouveaux modèles amusants pour percer le papier.

I have used a few different sets, many of which are reduced,

for instance this Triple Treat Flower is now only 8.21 Euros (£5.96).

Quite a few ribbons also appear on the List this year and I think that I will especially miss these beautiful Satin ones most.

J'ai utilisé quelques sets différents, dont un grand nombre sont réduites,
par exemple, ce tampon Triple Treat Flower est maintenant seulement 8,21 euros (£ 5,96).

Quelques rubans apparaissent également sur la liste cette année et je pense que je vais surtout  avoir un pincement au coeur pour ces beaux ruban au satin.

There are also many different Designer Series papers leaving us too and most of these are reduced. So this is a great time to grab a bargain and stock up on your favourites.

Il y a aussi beaucoup de différents papiers de la série Design nous quittent aussi et la plupart d'entre elles sont réduites. C'est donc le moment idéal pour faire un bon marché et faire le plein de vos favoris.

Anniversary Flowers

This was the card we spent to Martyn's brother and his wife for their 25th Wedding Anniversary.

Congratulations to them both !!

I didn't want to put the number on, so I silver heat embossed the flowers from Vintage Vogue and linked them together with some Wisteria Wonder leaves. And then just a little bit of bling to make it even more sparkly !!!

C'est la carte, nous avons envoyé au frère de Martyn et son épouse pour leur 25ème anniversaire de mariage.
Félicitations à tous les deux !!
Je ne voulais pas mettre le chiffre, alors j'ai embossé à chaud les fleurs de Vague Vintage en argent et les liés ensemble avec quelques feuilles de Galante Glycine. Et puis un peu de bling pour le rendre encore plus brillant !!!

For My Mum

As I said yesterday, it was my mum's birthday as well as Mothers' Day.
These are the cards I sent her to celebrate her very special day.
I often like to make her similiar cards for these two occasions (and sometimes her wedding anniversary as well which was last week too)
This year I used the Easter Blossoms stamp set to make a background, in the first card I did this using Rose Red and Pretty In Pink and on the second the colours are So Saffron and Soft Suede.

Comme je l'ai dit hier, c'était l'anniversaire de ma mère, ainsi que la Fête des Mères.
Ce sont les cartes que je l'ai envoyée à célébrer sa journée très spéciale.
J'aime souvent faire ses cartes de similaire pour ces deux occasions (et parfois son anniversaire de mariage qui était la semaine dernière aussi)
Cette année, j'ai utilisé les tampons Bouquet Pascal pour faire un fond, dans la première carte J'ai utilisé le Rose-Rouge et le Joli Rose et le deuxième les couleurs sont Tellement Safran et Doux Suède.

New Year Scrapbook Sunday

Happy New Year !!!

I hope you all have a very happy and very healthy 2012.

I was dared to put this photo on my blog by my husband......so I didn't want to disappoint him on January 1st. The boys got these crazy glasses for Christmas and I just wanted to check that the worked with champagne as well as fruit juice.
They do !!! LOL

Je vous souhaite à tous un très joyeux 2012 et bonne santé.

Grâce à mon mari j'ai osé mettre cette photo sur mon blog.......je ne voulais pas le décevoir le 1er Janvier. Les garçons ont eu ces lunettes folles pour Noël et je voulais juste vérifier qu'elles fonctionnaient avec du champagne aussi bien que pour des jus de fruits.
Oui elles fonctionnent !!! MDR

Scrapbook Sunday #59

Our good friends are starting back at school today in Cairo and we saw them at the end of June before everyone went off on holiday.
It's so hard saying goodbye to your best friends but we will see them again and through the wonders of Facebook we will keep in touch until then.
So to Thea and Arthur enjoy your new school year.
And to Paula enjoy the rest !!!

Nos amis font leur rentrée aujourd'hui au Caire et nous les avons vu pour la dernière fois fin juin avant que tout le monde soit parti en vacances.
C'est très difficile de dire au revoir à ses meilleurs amis mais nous allons nous revoir et avec les merveilles de Facebook nous allons garder le contact jusque-là.

Scrapbook Sunday #45

I hope that you are loving these papers as much as I am. I can't get enough of them.
What glorious weather he had over the Easter weekend and we got out and about to enjoy it. On Easter Sunday we meet up with very good friends and spent many hours wandering in the Parc de la Tête D'Or. I hadn't been in ages and I'd forgotten just how busy it gets.

J'espère que vous aimez toujours ces papiers autant que moi. Je veux les utiliser tout le temps.
Quel beau temps nous avons eu pendant le long weekend de Pâques, nous sommes sortis pour bien en profiter. Le dimanche de Pâques nous sommes allés au Parc de la Tête D'Or où nous avons passés l'après-midi avec de très bonnes amies. Je n'avais pas visité le parc depuis un moment et j'avais oublié à quel point qu'il est toujours fréquenté.

Don't you just love Spring time ???

And these Springtime Vintage papers !!

We've had a very warm and pleasant few weeks and the garden has just come to life. I luckily remembered to take pictures of the cherry tree and the pear trees in bloom (normally I forget until it's just too late !!!). No matter how hard your try, you can't stop Mother Nature.

Le printemps est magnifique, n'est ce pas ???

Et ces papiers Printemps Retro aussi !!

Nous avons eu quelques semaines où il a fait très beau et le jardin en a bien profité. J'ai eu la bonne idée de prendre le cerisier et les poiriers en fleurs en photos (d'habitude je m'en souviens trop tard!!). Même avec beaucoup d'efforts, on ne peut pas arrêter la nature.

Birthday Wishes

I made this card for a friend who had her birthday recently. We both loved it !!!

These are the Sweet and Sour Speciality papers and all I can say is that the catalogue picture does not do them justice. These are the most beautiful vibrant papers which glisten and are truely breath taking !!!

J'ai fait cette carte pour l'anniversaire d'une amie. Et nous avons toutes les deux aimé !!!

Ce sont des papiers Aigre-Doux Spécialité et il faut dire que les images dans le catalogue ne leur rendent pas justice. Ce sont des papiers plein de vie qui scintillent dans la lumière et qui sont magnifique à voir.

October Class Projects

Here are the projects we made at my last class using the Elegant Soirée papers.

We passed a lovely afternoon crafting. It's always so much fun when crafters get together. If you want to join us next month then it would love to see you. In November we will be making Christmas cards and December will be a Christmas wreath.

Voici trois des projets que nous avons fabriqué dans mes cours collectif du mois d'octobre en utilisant les papiers Douceurs d'Arabesque. Nous avons passé un après-midi très agréable. Il est toujours bien de passer du temps avec des personnes créatives.

Si vous voulez nous rejoindre au mois de novembre nous allons fabriquer des cartes des voeux et en décembre une couronne de Nöel.

It's my friend's birthday this week and this is her card. She doesn't need to be reminded that she's 40 !!

What Kind Of Week Would It Be............

Without some Rich Razzelberry !! I can't imagine a week going by without using this wonderful colour, but wait until October when all the new colours arrive and maybe then another will steal my heart away. But for the moment it's still this one that I love !!!
I saw this adorable little box on the blog of a fellow SU demonstrator Peg.

I couldn't resist having a go and then thinking wouldn't it be good to do something a little bigger for putting some little cards in. And here are the cards I did for inside, all in matching colours.

Il sera comment une semaine sans un peu de Fruits Des Bois !!! Je ne peux pas imaginer !! Mais on verra au mois d'octobre avec l'arrivée de beaucoup nouveaux coloris. Peut-être à ce moment là je trouverais un autre favorite, mais pour le moment je reste avec Fruits Des Bois !!

J'ai vu cette petite boite sur le blog d'une autre démonstratrice SU(voir le lien en Anglais). Et je ne pouvais pas m'empêcher d'essayer.

Et puis je me suis dit, et si je faisais en plus grandes ?? Alors je l'ai faite et j'ai fabriqué ces petites cartes pour mettre dedans dans des coloris assortis.

For the next few days I'm going to show you some cards that I have either sent or have been asked to do for teachers. They are or more or less Stampin' Up! and will show you how well Stampin' Up! products go with your own craft stash !!!

This one was for my Dad. He had a great birthday and my sister had a BBQ with most of the family there except us !! Too far to travel for a barbie. The little bird on the front is the new Extra Large Two Step Bird punch from the Mini Catalogue. And the Card Stock is Creamy Caramel & Brocade Blue. The bird is stamped with the vines from Vintage Vogue in Night of Navy. Everything else was from my stash....

Dans les prochains quelques jours je vais vous présenter des cartes qui sont plus ou moins Stampin' Up mais qui montrent comment les produits Stampin' Up! se marient avec vos achats existants.

Celle-ci était faite pour mon père. Il a eu une très belle fête chez ma soeur qui lui a fait une fête de famille avec un BBQ, malheureusement sans nous !!! Trop loin pour un repas. L'oiseau devant a été fait avec la nouvelle perforatrice Passereau deux étapes extra large. Et les papiers cartonné sont Brocart Bleu & Caramel Fondant. L'oiseau était tamponné avec les vignes du set Vague Vintage en Bleu Nuit. Tous les autres produits avaient déjà trouver leur place chez moi !!!

Vintage Vogue

Another quick card using the Vintage Vogue set but this time as well as Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry I've teamed it up with Pale Plum. The leaves are from the new Bird punch.

Voici une autre carte utilisant le set de tampons Vague Vintage. Mais cette fois-ci en plus de Vert Olive et Fruits des Bois j'ai aussi pris Prûne Pale. Les feuilles sont faites avec la nouvelle perforatrice.

Friends

I was just sitting playing around with the Vintage Vogue set from the mini catalogue and came up with these two little cards. In the first I wanted to see if I could make a border using one of the stamps and as I did this in Old Olive of course Rich Razzleberry had to be the colour to finish it off with !!!!!
With the second I chose Night of Navy and So Saffron, and changed the borders by using another of the stamps in the set.

J'étais en train de m'amuser avec le nouveau set de tampons Vague Vintage qui est dans le nouveau Mini Catalogue. Et j'ai eu l'idée de ces deux petites cartes. Sur la première je voulais voir comment utiliser le tampon bordure, et comme je l'a faite avec Vert Olive la couleur pour aller avec était bien sûr Fruits des Bois !!!!!
Sur la deuxième j'ai marié Nuit Bleu et So Safran ! avec un autre tampon du set.
